Morons on eBay

I found a good example. I saw an Amiga 500 in box posted on Kijiji. The description states best offer accepted, that it doesnt power up, they are not computer literate, and it might be an easy fix for someone. I reply by email that I am interested if it is priced accordingly.
Then I get on Ebay. I see the EXACT same pictures of the same Amiga 500 from a seller in the same geographic district. On Ebay, the description is "I dont have a monitor so I cant test it."
Hows that for blatant deceit?
So I send them a msg via Ebay that their listing is innaccurate at least, and deceptive at worst. This is the reply -
Thankyou for bringing to my attention that someone stole my pictures off Ebay and created a false Kijiji listing, I have brought it to their attention."
The Kijiji listing is removed. Aha, not before I took a print-screen of it.

Bid retraction is but one of a myriad number of tactics used by rampers and scammers on sith-bay, unfortunately sith-bate tolerates it and in a way encourages it with their stupid rules.

As Ben Kenobi once said "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villany".

I Was selling a Dual 2Ghz G5 powerMac for a starting bid of £150, not one but two people asked me if I'd accept £100 for it...

Err.. so I'm going to stop the auction to sell it for less...

What the hell is that <snip> ? :D
A rarity? Perhaps of a stupid user one!

As this was not to a BIN I've had to remove the link.

But if you search for spectrum zx128 I'm sure you'll find the right item. Dave G

Now some a**hole had the verve to STILL leave me w/ negative feedback even though I refunded him, after he harassed me about not shipping it on time (My mistake sadly). His ID is archangel_treasures and I'd highly recommend against buying from him.

I try to make it a rule to stay the hell away from eBay. If not for the complete morons then for the insane prices some people tend to think is just right.

One guy sold me an LP and just wrapped it in regular parcel paper. Needless to say it arrived in three pieces and the response to my complaint was "packaging was ok, bad feedback for you". Why thanx.

yep, one time my friends paypal account got closed, HE shipped the item to the guy, the guy complained he never received. And he even had proff that he signed for the package, NOPE paypal locked his account and the guy got the money back and the item. Gotta love it.

some people dont check the prices neither and they buy something used, where you can buy same new item for same price from comp store.

BTW i love how stealerbay charge the % of sold items 9%, you sell something for 300, about $28 goes to their pocket,
