Guys here's my GBS 8220 in it's case. What you all think. It looks professional eh???? The coiled cable is just a microphone one (Got it from good old eBay), and I have fitted a on/off switch, and a power LED too.... Oh here's the LCD Monitor that I will be using (You can get them cheap on eBay). It's a 17" with built-in speakers (Less clutter on the computer table that way)... and I do more pics of my completed 1200 when it's setup and running my DIY CD-Drive too (That has to share the same ribbon cable as the hard-drive, (Master/Slave).... Here's the pics of the ribbon cable that I had to make. The 40 pin connection on the Board will will be soldered to the CD-DRIVE connecter that I fitted to the left side corner at the bottom 1200 case, as for the power to the CD Drive it will come from the Floppy connecter, so I won't need a buffered board (I couldn't get it to work anyway)...

Mike..

Nice work Mike, you did a good job!

Ill have to get round to doing the same for mine.....although Im not so efficient at doing nice casework, too impatient!

Thanks. But doing the casework didn't take long. It was removing the tiny pins from the white plug wires and refitting them to the coiled cable wires, cos that was hard (But looks better than just soldering the wires to the coiled cable wires)

That looks great! I did something similar combined with a SLG3000. I'm wondering, do newer versions of the GBS eliminate any of the problems with pixel glitches?
