...and you can also run the game on PC, Mac, Linux, iPhone, PalmOS, Blackberry, Psion, Risc OS, etc by downloading an interpreter such as Frotz, Zoom, or whatever tickles your fancy.
i will consider it my friend but there is soooo much i have to learn yet to make a descent adventure game - basic parser games no longer cut i think...
i have the inform7 manual now and already after reading two chapters i can see lots ive done wrong..
we live and learn...
the game here was written by guess work over a week and pinching bits from the web to see how it worked.
Now i have the manual i can really get lost in it lol
Well I nearly had a full working version for some of you to play with but after a runtime error again - and again my fault, I've had to junk some code but I'll try to get a finished version on this week, after all it was only inteded to be a quick game to play , not an epic thing!
I'll also have to find somewhere else to post or update my blog as I'm sure you'll all get bored with me posting games on here lol
Writing interactive fiction with inform7 really shouldn't be in the coder's section - I see that as for Amiga-specific development discussion whereas this is something that works anywhere...
I took the liberty of making a simple intro screen for your game
It was made in a rush on Deluxe Paint, 320x256 resolution.
Here attached as both a bitmap and iff file.
Do with it as you please, it's actually real simple, but i just wanted to motivate you towards enhancing your effort..
PS The ship is not copied from anywhere, it really is my imagination.
Brilliant , I will take a look tomorrow, thank you
Ahhh the only delay with updating the game is me working long hours but this weekend I hope to get some work done on it and maybe get ready to start a new game thats better

yes, you can do it - even with inform - but it does cause some portability issues. I believe you should be able to display PNG or JPG even on Amiga Frotz... I'll check.
one with Amiga graphics and one text only for any interpreter ...
can the Amiga display jpg?

@salaxi54
Does the silly British humour translate to greek ok? in the version of the game on here, there are lots of reference to british lifestyle and history ...
