need help installing aztec C 5.0 on Amiga

Dear All,

i am trying to install Aztec C 5.0 on Amiga.
Failed on real A2000 with gvp hd8+.
Install reported to be successfull, had to fiddle a bit with assigns and settings.
Compiling helloworld.c did generate a helloworld.o file, linking fails.
Reverted to emulated A1200 with 68030, 8mb and classicwb advsp.
Failed there too......
No amount of fiddling allowed for succesfull compiling, can't even get close to the stage of linking.
Anyone to the resque?
