Nope, was a tiny little amount on startup but it clears up now. Now if only i could find a pal mode than whdload likes...one that either doesnt cut of the top and bottom or put it in a little box in the middle lol...oh well one day jens

Made a joystick tester today at work.

Couple of bits and pieces came in the mail today :)

Some bits from Kipper (A500 CF + RAM, External CF adaptor for A1200 etc)
The RGB to VGA GBS8220 (and its no Indivision, but its quite acceptable)
Basic power supply tester
The kits for PS/2 to Amiga mouse (Just awaiting on the PICs to complete them), although simple its been fun putting them together

I don't see your name into the list of the thread of the A500 CF+ Ram.

Me I have ordered one A500 + CF + 8Mb and 2 video hybrid modules for my Gba1000. Kipper2K has sent them... and I don't know if I received one day. It seems that post has loosed the parcel.:censored:
 
Finalized my DIY diagnostics cartridge and dongles. I had spare cartridge, reset cartridge and cassette connector for this. Works great. Just found out one of my machines got a faulty SID. PotX and potY don't work from controller port. I'll replace it and the faulty SID is still good for dual SID (no use for pots).
Keyboard connector can be tested without keyboard dongle by pressing down keys W D M 8 DEL : UP_ARROW and RUN/STOP. Good for sealed units.

Ensoniq Mirage DMS-8
When it comes to samplers, I vastly prefer older gear with some grit and character to it to sterile modern stuff that tries to provide perfect fidelity with no coloration of the sound. The Mirage is a classic example of that lo-fi sampler sound, with a bonus of running the sound through programmable analog filters. The interface and architecture are rather archaic, but it sounds too nice for me to mind that much. I got a sweet deal on it since they weren't sure it was 100% working - turned out the only thing wrong with it was some minor chip creep, probably from however many years of operating in a rack with the only ventilation blocked by the next module up! Re-seated the socketed chips and it's happy as a clam now :)

Indeed it was. The Mirage was their first product; it contains the same DOC wavetable chip used in the Apple IIGS.

Yeah I saw his website somehow, and emailed him off the website....Im sure the details are the same either way (here and there). Helpful bloke, I got the stuff quickly! :)
