Managed to bag two A600's aswell recently :)

1 x A600, 1 x A600HD

Both manky, one better than the other. One still has its warranty seal intact. Had to source a keytop tho (it has a blue membrane keyboard)

Got an ACA620EC on the way and have an A604N waiting to go in.

Both seem to work really good aswell, no nasty issues. Audio works, pcmcia slots work etc.

Quite happy considering the hassle ive had recently :)

Picked up an Atari 2600 Woody 6 switcher with a few games and a boxed PS1 console today. No PSU with the Atari so waiting on one from ebay but looks in great condition. PS1 is in good clean condition and came boxed with controller, memory card, rgb scart & power cable. Will be modchipped a little later.

That's exactly the setup I had in mind, provided ether of my two work.

This will keep me busy for few nights...

I got a little 3D-printed Blocker lemming from Shapeways! :D

My camera hates it.

Nice one NinjaRabbit! I really want to get into 3D printing, but the cost of entry is a bit high at the moment. I may try the Shapeways route. The best use of this technology for us retro computing/gaming geeks is the ability to manufacture replacement parts or enclosures/cases for new kit. :)

i got this to cool my gaming room

went from 35c to 20c ish in about half hour

it dropped temps on my 2 pcs in there by about 10c

 Never thought it would be that effective! Goes to show how much room temps actually affect things.

The model's not by me, admittedly, but I had a store-credit from a previous order that ultimately couldn't be printed, so I had a browse and then went for it when I found it (you can see from some of my posts that I rather like the Lemmings games!).

I've also ordered unusual dice by folks who've uploaded them to there, as well, since I rather like dice as well as retro gaming gear.

I haven't had a need for any parts or whatnot yet, but I imagine it would indeed be handy for that.

Anyway, Shapeways is absolutely brilliant, and they've got some brilliant tools for folks who can't 3D-model (like myself  ), as well - highly recommended.

with the pcs they just circulate the warm air they give out

with this it pulls in the air from the back vents

blows 15c ish cold air out the front and vents the hot air out a hose out the window

i might get another fro the front room

Today was installed new stuff to my A4000 bigramplus 256

 Looks cool!

I have been looking for something similar here in France but cannot find something that doesn't look like it's made by tupperware for less than about a grand - at least not online, and I have no time to investigate beyond. Fortunately the warm days seem to behinds us.

My god, 35C inside? Its bad enough in my house when its 26-27C. Next year we plan on getting central air or a heat pump for air conditioning. I'm already looking forward to fall temperatures! We actually had 0 rain in all of July, a first!

LOL! Get out the crayon to fill in the crevices, just like the old D&D Dice.

:O a tetrahedron dice! (die) Don't see those very often!

Edit: and a dodecahedron! :O is that an icosahedron too?!

"Don't see those very often," huh? You need to get out more, boy. They are, like, all too common. :coffee:

loljk. I seem to recall each one of them in my standard starter's set.
Baby blue = authenticity. :p
