Hi,
I cannot install the newer version of AmiSSL (5.19). When I double-click the installer I receive an error (picture below - "An Error has occurred. String Fmt: String too long").
I'm using IBrowse 3.0 and I need the newer version of AmiSSL or I have the alert message during navigation every time I click some links or load some pages (picture below - MEssage Traslation: "AmiSSL not installed or version too late")

What is the problem with my AmiSSL?

Some more information:
- I'm using AOS 3.2 (updated 3.2.2.1)
- I'm using an A2000 with Vampire 500 V2 (ROM soft kick 3.2)
- The Internet stack is working: AriadneII, MiamiDX, IBrowse. I can go online and surf internet regularly (until I click/surf something that requires an updated version of AmiSSL - for example, I can download files from Aminet but not from the iBrowse website or the message in the picture shared appears.)
- The Vampire with his CF/HD were previously used into an Amiga 500. I took all the stuff and put into the Amiga 2000. Should the AmiSLL be re-installed because of a different machine? (The CPU is the same, always the same Vampire accelerator board)

So, about my last point, if could be a path to follow I need to remove and reinstall the AmiSSL (starting from the version 1, followed by 2 and 3 and finally the 5th).
How can I remove the AmiSLL? Just remove the folder and the ASSIGN line on the user-startup?

Thanks for your help!

I wonder if there is a bug in the installer for Italian language. Can you try switching to English?

Do you get the same error with older AmiSSL installers? Just to see if it fails immediately too.

As far as I am aware. Removal of AMISSL is how you just as described it. Making sure you reboot afterwards to clear from RAM.
You don’t need to go through the AMISSL v1,2,3 anymore as I understand it. That was for Ibrowse 2.4 only.
You just install the latest Version 5.19.

I can confirm that after removing and reinstalling AmiSSL everything works well ;-)
Perhaps the previous installation on the Amiga 500 generated something not good for the Amiga 2000.

Thanks
