Question about Amiga Phoenix

So long story short. I traded my a4000 for original Amiga Phoenix. It was my dream come true machine.
It has 1 Mb Chip and 1.3-2.0 kickstart installed.
I have one loose cable connector inside, from kickstart switch. Surprisingly, switching works, but still, not sure where should I plug that cable?
I looked into manual, and I see that a switch goes into L42 (plugged) and L35,
However, in my L35 there is already a jumper. Is that is a right way , or I should connect it?
That thing is rare, I don't want to experiment too much with it

According to this article, L35 is the HDD drive select for boot which prevents booting from a HDD mismatched to the selected rom. The article explains the options of having the wire in question connected.
