Some exciting news! At the request of one of our users, I’m currently exploring the possibility of adding 4116 RAM to our supported list.
Since this RAM requires an additional -5V and +12V, a small adapter board will be needed to fit it into the existing ZIF socket.
If all goes smoothly, you’ll be able to order it in about two weeks!
Existing customers will be able to expand their current products’ capabilities by simply adding the adapter — or, for the adventurous, by building one yourself.

Due to request from a user the next Firmware Version will include HM4816 (16k x 1) 16 Pin RAM.
4116 Support has also been built in and the firmware has been split in modules for better maintainability. I need to do some testing but assume that I can release the Firmware sometime next week.
However the HW Design for the 4116 Adapter has had some setbacks. It will not be available for purchase until mid September if all goes well.
For those interested I have created a very simple YT Video to demonstrate the actual and upcoming HW & SW.
Note: Firmware and HW Design Files will be published once the design is verified.

- Current released Firmware is 2.4.2 - Upcomming is 2.5.x or 3.x (I haven't made up my mind if it is worth a major stepping). However it is not completely tested and adjusted yet. So if want a board now you'll get 2.4.2 but of course you may update it later on - as usual.
- The 4116 Boards are not yet ready. It will take a few days before I can supply a first batch of around 10 Boards - of which 3 are already reserved. Manufacturing new 4116 Boards will take around 3+ Weeks from the date I confirm the design is ok. I already know the design has a minor flaw due to a wrong component size, most probably I can assemble them anyway but it will not look as nice and clean as it could. The first batch of (flawed) PCB should arrive in a few days. Due to this, I sell them under the cost price.
- To be fair, People who order now are informed of this and have the choice of waiting for the next Firmware and/or the availability of 4116 Boards or to have the Tester ASAP an update / upgrade later on.

Currently no shippments to the US. SwissPost has ceased all shipments to the US due to unclear tariff situation.
