My boards have arrived too, unable to test until the weekend will let you know.

I am reading the first post and it is not clear if you have 0 pcs left or the 2nd batch (11pcs) is available.
Also @lordoftime1979 has not clicked on the declare interest button..

Updated thread and reinstated back to "For sale" due to it being updated with more stock for batch 2.

@lordoftime1979 & @TjLaZer can re-declare interest.

however @AmigaDigital, please can you mark the buyers of batch 1 as completed, just incase they would like to redeclare interest in some more.

Declaring interest.

in 2 more please.

I found the Github repository hosting the project:

It contains modification instructions for different drive types and might be helpful for the buyers.
Also read issues section on github, currently there are some major issues with reading/writing HD floppies...
So yeah, until resolved adapter is quite useless imho.

Where is the issues section?
According to the seller only 7291 model is working and this one have to be marked as 60A, not 60B.
We are waiting for @Timtheloon results and maybe others in the future.
I had no luck with my 2 drives.

I'm home at the weekend so will do some testing then. I'll also test the adapters with the original Amtrade drive to to see how it performs.

I have gone a bit mad 😆 I bought a bundle of 10 Teac drives off Ebay, so I got lots to test with hopefully they will arrive tomorrow too.

First try with Sony drive and... It is working 😁
It is a very quick modification and it needs a proper job.

My first try was a WorkBench FFS format with no luck.. Initializing error.
Then I tried through X-copy, ffs format with an error at the last track. The disk was df0:unreadable.
Then tried again WorkBench format but this time no ffs format. Succeeded.

I threw in a file and when I reinserted the disk it could read it.
Then tried again with a ffs format, this time with success.

FFS format = 1.76MB
No FFS format shows 1.6MB
Anybody knows the difference?

What is your SONY model? Mine MPF920-E E/131 do not work.
The same. Even though according to other similar projects, the drive has to be made between 1997-2003 or have the same 2 chips, it is mentioned that 3 out of 4 drives are working.
Did you cut the trace where it is shown to separate the track?

On the left it is the drive that is working for sure.
The others will be tested with another HD project.

I did. I believe I have one other Sony I will try my luck again.
Difference between OFS/FFS on floppy is normal. Even on DD you get some capacity gain with FFS.
X-Copy can format HD?
