Hi !
Same question has previous Brostenen : Still avalaible?
If avalaible, then I declare interest, pending a couple of questions....
:D

I plan to install it in a simple A500 rev6a in which the floppy drive has been replaced with a Gotek (I also have HxC slim SD card drive in case Gotek would be a problem).
I also plan to install
the 2mb trapdoor mem upgrade from boobip i received yesterday.
For kickstart replacement i have a dual 1.3/3.1 kickstart chip that will be installed and stuck to 3.1

My questions are the following :

1) Is it compatible with dual kickstart (it's a single chip with a selector, or it can be stuck with jumpers) definitly set kickstart to 3.1 ?
2) Is it compatible with
the 2mb trapdoor mem upgrade from boobip ? I know i will only have 1M of chipram.
3) Will i be able to install workbench 3.1 on the flashcard, doing the installation from either Gotek / HxC slim sd card drive ?
4) From a booting/install perspective, as soon as the hardware is in place, what's happening when booting ? Is Flashcard drive taking priority over floppy drive (Gotek / HxC slim) ? And when workbench is installed , when rebooting, is it directly booting from flash card ?
5) Can i plug an already installed flashcard (Workbench, whdload ...) ?

Thanks !

No Problems here Gotek works nice in pair with TF530 also HxC does

KS 1.3 has no scsi.device driver, so TF530 is unable to boot with 1.3

1) Is it compatible with dual kickstart (it's a single chip with a selector, or it can be stuck with jumpers) definitly set kickstart to 3.1 ?
works fine with dual rom, but the hight can be a problem - it should remain same hight as original chip (or You need additional pin stripes to shift relocator a little bit higher then)
2) Is it compatible with the 2mb trapdoor mem upgrade from boobip ? I know i will only have 1M of chipram.
As about boobip expansion - it is basically the same as PeteAU's one. boobips one wasn't tested as i haven't one, i assume it will
3) Will i be able to install workbench 3.1 on the flashcard, doing the installation from either Gotek / HxC slim sd card drive ?
Sure, You just need all of 6 WB 3.1 disks (images) to do it
4) From a booting/install perspective, as soon as the hardware is in place, what's happening when booting ? Is Flashcard drive taking priority over floppy drive (Gotek / HxC slim) ? And when workbench is installed , when rebooting, is it directly booting from flash card ?
No, floppy (gotek or HXC in Your case) drive always has priority to boot, if no disk in drive present - will boot from IDE then, You can also choose what You want to boot in early boot menu (by holding both mose keys while computer was switched on). Attention, KS 1.3 doesn't have early boot menu!
5) Can i plug an already installed flashcard (Workbench, whdload ...) ?[/COLOR]
Sure! You can prepare CF Card on PC using WinUAE, for example, and then use this card on real Amiga

Hi there, I am interested in one of these please, for my A500+

are there any available?

thanks

Chris.

Hi !

I have
few questions:

1) It is still avalaible?
2) RAM size - How much RAM is on it?
2) MMU - does 030 on it have MMU?
3) FPU - how much cost version with FPU
3) SPI Port - is on it?

Product recieved and feedback left. I must say that it was extremely well packed. And the product looks great. Good solderwork and so on. I have not modded a PC power supply yet, in order to have enough juice for the machine. And I need to buy a new solder iron, as the old is nearly worn out. And I have a brand new floppy drive in transit right now, that I will be recieving in the next couple of days. I will report back in order to tell how it all went. Might take a week or week a half before I have it running. I just had to buy it, before they were all sold out.

Hello,
peyment received from user kerkyra2007
Hi !

I have
few questions:

1) It is still avalaible?
Will build some new cards soon

2) RAM size - How much RAM is on it?

Currently 2MB
2) MMU - does 030 on it have MMU?
Plastic CPU does not have MMU built in, this card was built using CPU socket, so You can swap cpu out to ceramic one easily
3) FPU - how much cost version with FPU
FPU is installed
3) SPI Port - is on it?
Yes, this card has SPI Port
regards,

Viktor

I have yet one small question out of curiosity. Can the controller do master and slave or is it one device only?

what does early boot menu say? (if You press both mouse buttons and power on amiga)
does it show other Hard drives? if Yes - You can choose the drive to boot from...

I have not yet installed the card yet, as I have not had the time before today. I was buried in a restauration of another Amiga500 that I have. (soldering work) It was only if you knew something about, if it will be compatible. Will I destroy anything, if I try to install two IDE devices on the controller?

Xorpos,
as reported previously in this topic's post #175 - got TF534 prototype board from Stephen, have built it up.
It is far away from selling yet - currently running testing phase to see how this card works

Finally had a chance of getting the TF-530 running, that I bought from you some time ago. Sorry for the delay. The card it self, is working beautifully without any issues. The CF/HDD solution is working beautifully. And everything is just great. I just have one slight problem, when trying to fit it, alongside a dual-kickrom with key licensed by cloanto. You know. Those kickrom switchers that are two-in-one chip. Because it is too high, the relocator will go over the top left corner of the kickrom chip. Only solution to have it running, is eighter to use a single chip original kickrom. Or have some sort of kickrom relocator. Or to use a kickrom switcher that are extended with a ribbon cable. Regarding my ScanPlusECS scandoubler (the one from Irixlabs), then the reloocator and the TF-530, will indeed fit, with the scandoubler installed. The bottom part of the scandoublers pcb and the top of the relocator pcb does not touch each other. There are an aprox 1 to 1.5 millimeter gap between them. And the TF-530 board it self, does not touch the Denise chip at all. This however recuire you to install one row of socket spacers/extenders between the cpu socket on the mainboard and the CPU relocator it self.

I am happy with the purchase. And have done a little screenshot of sysinfo, with the accelerator installed. And I used an ATX PSU with an homemade adaptor cable. (ATX-to-SquareDIN)

Dear TF530 users!
Stephen - the creator of Terrible Fire cards has released a new firmware
with a LOT of bugfixes!

https://github.com/terriblefire/terriblefire-binaries/blob/master/tf530/tf530_2018_11_4_beta.zip

Verified working with a 4Mb GVP ZII card installed A2000-HC+8

Both revisions working on the A2000 @ 50Mhz, 33Mhz and 25Mhz now
1,5MB Slow RAM issue fixed, Graphic issues on A2000 @50Mhz fixed
2-6MB Zorroll RAM cards working in pair with
TF530
now if these have correct Autoconfig settings
(not occupy all Zll space)

Im strongly recommend to update Your TF530 cards!!!
