Is it possible to have a sd box working without the need of usb external power? I've destroyed all the sd box bought from amigastore.eu just crushing into the point of usb external power placement . I boot amigaos 3.2.2 on all my amigas so i'd access sd0 from workbench 3.2.2 itself

If it's only a questuion of time i have patience and can wait for a sd box self powered to be build and ready to go. Let me know

It will not work without external power as there is a 47R resistor on parallel-port power line (at least in Amiga 500) so there is no chance that it will supply more than few miliampers without serious voltage drop.
