In your case the best will be to ask someone for help.
And remember - you must have two wires 1,75mm2 (or even 2x3mm2) from PSU to BVPPC. Soldered directly from PSU PCB to BVision PPC PCB. No connectors in between.
That is why picoPSU are the best - they are inside A1200 case and wires are short.

Very confused about that picopsu thing.

I dont see what goes to wall plug :) There´s no transformer included?

Anyways, I ask bamiga if he would feel confident about installing either that or just cables and molex to my ppc so that I can fit molex from my amigakit psu.

Maybe a mod could merge my threads about bvision and grex because these kind of got messy :)

So no luck with the image I sent you?

Not a driver issue after all?

I think there should be no driver required to get the pci menu when booting and pressing esc. :( No image there -> Stachu says its my rev0 board not compatible with grex.

I am right now trying your lha with low hopes.

I dont understand how it is possible for pciscan to see the voodoo if my ppc is not compatible. Also I dont understand why I have never had problems booting the ppc if it has too low voltage. But my understanding is admittedly limited.

Has anyone ever tried to do this:

Install indivision aga on a1200 motherboard.

Install micronik zorro busboard on a1200 motherboard.

Install ppc on micronic zorro board.

Install grex on top of that.

Might seem silly but it is the only way I can think of to install Indivision aga at the same time as grex. :D

edit: Thank goodness its not physically possible to do that either as the busboards would block each other.

Tested it now. It boots, image only through rgb out. 0 graphics devices. :(

Is the menu you get to by holding esc some sort of configuration menu or just diagnostics menu? As in can you there declare that voodoo 3 is in slot 3 instead of just seeing what is where? Could my no image problem be because I have not told the hardware where the graphics card is? Maybe indivision aga mk2 can fit at the same time as grex/bvision.

I guess your PPC is not working with GREX, my old Rev0 BPPC although U could get it to open adisplay with Voodoo it just locked up the system.

All working fine with my Rev2 BPPC

Maybe you should sell the GREX and get Mediator PCI?

Yeah. Time to give up.

Options to consider.

1) As you said. Sell GREX, buy mediator. (edit: but then I lose ability to install morphos)

2) Sell PPC (but who would want it now), get rev 2 PPC (but those are rarely available and I would probably still fail, the card would not have enough voltage or something)

3) Buy 12 pack of beer and a bottle of koskenkorva vodka, introduce axe to some amiga hardware. (j/k)

4) Get the voltage mod done somehow and use the bvision.

Ha ha, go with the Vodka but don't kill any miggy's!

You can start a trade thread for GREX vs Mediator

Yeah. Sure seems like mediators aren´t even available right now from any store that I´ve looked so will have to hunt for used one.
Made a swap thread.
