Recently I picked up a non-working A690 (prototype of A570) for next to nothing. Today I disassembled it, removed the leaking battery and patched two destroyed PCB traces. Now it's fully kicking!
I guess that might be my "rarest" electronic device. Well, maybe my two or three Minec 1000 portable terminals from early 80'th would match it.
WoodyCool said:Amiga 1500 - I would say this is somewhat rare, especially being as it's a model that's specific to the UK market only. I've only ever seen one of these other than the one I own, and that was in Dixon's back in the early 90s
My Dad owned an A1500 that he bought from Dixons back then; the A1500 badge on his machine didn't look quite right for some reason and when we carefully peeled it off, there was an A2000 badge underneath it!![]()
Just remembered my uncle has an Astrowars game somewhere. I guess they're quite rare these days...
