I thought I'd read some pretty positive reviews? I'm still looking to get a unit at any rate as I am a hobbyist and so expect the device will get better and more functional as the firmware matures. Where are you selling them now?

hmmm I think you are miss understand review because is only one review.... and review is definitely not positive. I use this review on FB page to cool down users fed up with SD2IEC device, not a buyers of U.
I think is natural to U users, they spend money on something very expensive an emulator of SID, fountain and it is cool. Let it be.
I really don't care.
Life is to short. maybe I will have enough time to prove why UK is UK and why I did not simple use VHDL to clone U...and instead of this I learn assembler of CM0/CM3 and MSP430.

Hi Kisiel !

You talking about this review :http://www.indieretronews.com/2015/01/uk1541-latest-c64c128-product-but-is-it.html ?

It's not so bad...

For MOBO, it's a great thing !!! you know ! but do you think you can do better than icomp.de with c64 reloaded ?

You are a serious man, and you have my full support !

Keep going ! I really love your job mate ! ;)

I do not want to start discussion about rules before and after.. all 3 threads about it are closed and I am not going to close this last one.
Facts: in parallel I set up list on facebook 26.11.2014 for ppl without Amibay account. Amibay list started earlier 20.11.2014.
I am moderator of UK1541 page. Amibay Moderators maintain pages on Amibay. Admins/Moderators make rules.
I asked all time before start new threads about rules to follow... how it ends you can see. So if I am guilty, I will go to hell.

@sweetlilmre

From what I can tell, you should go to kisiel's UK1541 Facebook page to order: https://www.facebook.com/uk1541drive

@All

Kisiel was asked to clean up the two UK1541 interest and sale threads on AmiBay. Instead of doing so, he decided to no longer sell on AmiBay. That was his decision so please stop dragging it up. Please use his Facebook page for future discussions related to sales.

Heather

Clean up threads.

Next in line is BuzzBrain declaring interest 24th November. 4th page from thread "UK1541, true drive emulation for C64/C128, market..."

"UK1541, for sale thread, Started by kisiel, 7th February 2015 09:50."

For me nothing has been changed till MoRetro declaring interest 4th February 2015 page 9 from thread "UK1541, true drive emulation for C64/C128, market..."
5 pages earlier you stopped sale, because of.... mess :) :) :)

So for me rules are completely not clear and depends on someone business. This (clearness) I can not accept, I can not put "rabbit friends" before Mr. MoRetro.

Got mine last night and for the first time ever there is a fully working 1541 emulation device for Vic20.
How about 1541U and Turbo Chameleon? They can both work in standalone mode.

1541u2 cannot work in standalone mode afaik? The first one can, i forgot about that. Chameleon can of course but its 500 times the price(approximate). =)

True, 1541U-2 cannot run as standalone (yet), but it can still be used with VIC20 if you have a C64 next to it to control the cart. :)

Hehe, yes ive been using that variant for both Vic20 and Plus4. In fact its one of the reasons i really wanted the uk1541.
However i need to get an adapter to use it with Plus4. I dont really know what needs to be connected for it to work.
