I thought I'd read some pretty positive reviews? I'm still looking to get a unit at any rate as I am a hobbyist and so expect the device will get better and more functional as the firmware matures. Where are you selling them now?

hmmm I think you are miss understand review because is only one review.... and review is definitely not positive. I use this review on FB page to cool down users fed up with SD2IEC device, not a buyers of U.
I think is natural to U users, they spend money on something very expensive an emulator of SID, fountain and it is cool. Let it be.
I really don't care.
Life is to short. maybe I will have enough time to prove why UK is UK and why I did not simple use VHDL to clone U...and instead of this I learn assembler of CM0/CM3 and MSP430.
How about 1541U and Turbo Chameleon? They can both work in standalone mode.Got mine last night and for the first time ever there is a fully working 1541 emulation device for Vic20.
True, 1541U-2 cannot run as standalone (yet), but it can still be used with VIC20 if you have a C64 next to it to control the cart.1541u2 cannot work in standalone mode afaik? The first one can, i forgot about that. Chameleon can of course but its 500 times the price(approximate). =)How about 1541U and Turbo Chameleon? They can both work in standalone mode.

However i need to get an adapter to use it with Plus4.
Maybe better idea is to provide small stand up (pcb) for UK1541 with normal IEC connector + power port + cheap Chinese charger 5V as power source / micro usb => connected to UP in UK.
