Billion words one movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rBCfPsMFVQ&feature=youtu.be

I am focusing on:
Remote Control , with core reset, drv number change end joystick emulation. 90% is done.. no more power off !!
I2C bus MSP<=> Cortex M0, without this I can not upgrade software in MSP (RC,RTC,Joyemu)
after this I can sell first devices because I can update firmware from SD.
next to do:
emulation improvements and bug fixing, some demos do not work, no save at this moment.

Indeed. Way better than the Ultimate 1541 which is a headache to navigate.

Anyway, price and date? @:D

Main issue with Ultimate is disk change... on demo compo ;)

Price is solid around 50-60 Euro plus p&p but without shell, I want to find good box so this more or less.
Date ? after I2C I will send final design PCB UK1541C so deadline is X-party (SMART ;)). I have almost set up production line with external support so I will be able to work on updates not on PCB's

Thank you all for your interest !!!

In my opinion, the best solution for disk-swapping is using pre-defined slots & switching between them with a single button press (like Amiga floppy emulators do).

@kisiel: your device looks very promising!
I hope you'll offer a version without external display but instead, select files using a C64 program.
This shouldnt be too hard to implement, even by using the serial-bus.

Years ago I did something like that, by using a PC which identified itself as a 1541 device #12.
I could navigate PC folders & files by using plain C64 DOS commands.

This looks extremely good, how did i not see this before, awaiting availability of this with great anticipation!:thumbsup2:

Does this handle .CRT files as well?
How come ? with User Port ??? GeoAction can not handle CRT but MultiAction is designed to do a lot more.
UK1541 also not emulate REU, SID's and ...fountain :) But I can add ... drive sound at this stage of development ;)

Lol I guess that is a 'no' :)

any idea on release date + price?

thanks!

If you are not satisfied with this answer do not hesitate to ask again !!!

Slots can be done but this is not Amiga emulator so maybe is not so useful solution. Ok for GEOS maybe (desktop on slot 1, geowrite on slot 2).
The only constrain for this idea is lack of memory in MSP and how many buttons I have free on RC. For future development.
IEC <=> Emulation
Ok problem is not to do it, problem is to when switch from “SD2IEC” to full emulation and back. Extra button for this is already on RC and MSP is connected to Cortex to do it. So at this stage I will stay with TFT for this project because games/demos will not change disk on device #12.

Current Status: Remote Control is done with reset signal to drive, joystick emulation, drive number change.. few buttons left

I like the price, thanks :) - I will definitely buy one.

Will the final design include the little screen?

Single button disk change from a playlist or similar would be a huge boon when running demo compos at parties.

Fantastic, how do I order/pre-order =)

First I want to sell prototype. I am waiting for pre-serial pcb (blue version) it will be available on Amibay also.

You can keep finger cross on auction 271633136682 ;)

Would you be willing to send out press builds for review? As we've done a number of reviews now, cheers

Hi !

Fantastic project !!

Very good alternative to 1541U2 ! LCD Screen and remote rocks !

Do you think this product include a plastic shell or metal(like c64 infinity) ?

Have you approximatively dates of sales ? and first batch ? (it's just a question...)

regards
