Thanks for your interest but please wait for final prototype with 2.2" LCD.

Now I am collecting parts, LCD's,User Port connector, CM0, MSP430 etc.

Hi,

I've just registered to say that your project is amazing. Congratulations! I was doing something similar with the Arduino Uno, but of course without the True drive emulation which is impossible to do on that hardware. Can't wait to see the final product. :)

I have two questions on my mind:
- Would it be possible to make your firmware working on the Arduino Due which is based on the Cortex M3?
- Are you planning to do an even more cost reduced version? Eg. i can live happily without the color LCD. A simple 3-4 line monochrome text LCD panel is enough imo. I will watch it for only selecting the disk image anyway :)

Sorry but no , and no. I will not produce crap because it will be a 2$ cheaper.
Thanks for interest any way.

Thanks for the answer. I was expecting the color LCD to be more expensive. In that case it really doesn't matter. It's already a lot cheaper than the 1541 ultimate, so i was just curious. :) Watching this topic for further updates.

Great project! I'm impressed and waiting for final product!
Definantely interested in buying this piece of hard work :)

Very interested in this, its pretty amazing that you have managed to cram that level of emulation into a cortex chip!
This must have been an insane amount of work...

New pcb's of prototype are in house. If everything will fit to new design I will ask for serial production.
Stay tuned.

Just watched all the videos... looking great, looking great.
Interested in a piece when it becomes available. :)

New prototype with final design. I found some issues in 3D concept of some parts placement but prototype is usable, connectors fit to pcb's etc.
See it soon on Amibay, you don't dare to miss it ;)

Indeed. Way better than the Ultimate 1541 which is a headache to navigate.

Anyway, price and date? @:D
