@1NOM155 Yes I have liteplacer now. I have already started mass production so I won't need help with soldering or someone else build cards. Machine can build loads of cards per day, in fact more than we need. Maybe once when we move on to another Amiga model we can find a way to talk. Point is that in assembly of those cards lot of things needs to be done and not just that, testings takes time and testing tools is something we keep private for now.

Thank you for your quick response Sir Majsta :)

I comprehend mate, my idea was to help decrease the waiting list, was you can see a lot of people (including my self) are waiting for your marvellous work and the team (of course I'll not forget Apollo guys :P ).
And unfortunately Kipper2K can't handle hundreds or even more requests :p
Plus was also to avoid custom house fee for European costumers.

About the test / tools, I didn't thought that, but the assemble / build process, my idea is to make in a professional level / mass production, not in my home, lacking of space ;)

Anyway, if in a near future may possible to start a mass production, send me a PM.
In mean while I'll wait for you (or Kipper2K) can start produce some cards in "auto mode", to avoid any distractions on your future development :)

@majsta:

Please add me to the waiting list (1 piece Vampire 600 MK2). My A600 has 37.350 Kickstart. Is this OK or do I need a 3.1 ROM, and if so - do I have to buy a chip, dump the image and send it to you - or could I use the file version off my ClassicWB by Cloanto (bought legally, I have a S/N).

Last sent Vampire was on june 27th. Wonder when I will get mine. I should be happy when I get it this year I suppose.

Have to admit, an update would be nice on what's happening, I thought the liteplacer machine would speed things up, and would see a glut of cards being marked as sent out.

It's also cause I'm looking forward to having a new Amiga almost !

Argh!! i've been looking for this thread for the last hour!
But Please add me to the pre-order list when it reopens. thanks

The concept of pre-orders is that they are placed before the design is finished. Now that the V600-2 is finished and is in production (although slow), it is not possible to place any more pre-orders. As mentioned 100 times in the thread, go to Kipper2k if you want one.

Hello all,

I just registered this forum to claim some information about vampire II a600/a500/a1200.
Is there a new batch planned soon to order A500/A600 models?
As I have a slow A600 I would like to give him a second life!

I hope new batch of vampire II will ship soon !

Thanks for the development, this is a great news for Amiga fans

edit: Kipper2k.com is currently down, so what is the process to order a vampire board?

Wait a bit, it will probably be back up soon. Otherwise you can probably view the page through Google's cache, Waybackmachine or similar..

I think it is going fast now :-D

Maybe this question was already asked somewhere in these 116 pages, however, what are the rules when a card is sent to someone on the preorder list? A lot of cards were sent out to people that ordered after me. I uploaded the kickstart and it seems to be fine. Did I miss something?

Ok again quick info, pick and place machine speed ed things up a lot but I was at holiday. I m trying to clear all pre orders fastest that is possible so again have patience. This is not the only pre-order list and we have about 800 cards left to solder, yes you read it right. This pre-order list have highest priority. Also some cards reported non working and each time when people get back them to me I put them into my machine and they work perfectly so I m not sure how people use this card. Next time I ll save video where I m unpacking "non working card" and plugging it into my Amiga. Right now I m doing bottom side of the boards, today did 13 of them, tomorrow I ll continue and after I do about 30 of them I ll go to top side and then to adding connectors, sockets etc and then testings. So like you can see I m not doing everything on one card and then go to next one. It is done in stages. Also from now on everyone will receive cards with much better PLCC sockets and those don't need sanding or anything like that, they fits perfectly. Also I have send number of PM here to the users who were next in line to confirm their address, lot of them didn't replied yet so I moved on to the next in line. Don't be mad if someone got the card before you because there was reason to do that. At least I keep all publicly so everyone can see what and when is something going on.

Brilliant news for all. I hope you enjoyed your holiday. I suspect once the vampire 500 and 1200 are available you won't have time for another one ;)

can I put my name down for a vampire 1200 already ;) [joking]

Thank you for keeping us informed Majsta - much appreciated.
