Hi,
I've had some barely noticeable vertical lines through unbuffered RGB to vga adapter and exactly the same lines through buffered adapter with VLR (vertical line remover).

Today I received a DCE scan doubler / flicker magic and the lines are much worse.

I 've tried with 2 monitors, one that could sync down to 15KHz and one that couldn' t. The same lines.
Clock or Phase couldn't improve anything.

What could be the problem with my amiga, if this is the problem?

Recapped in 2018 and I use a custom made Meanweal PSU.

Thank you!

Old SD/FFs are for CRT screens. If you use them on LCD monitors, you will get what you will see right now. Your best bet are the Indivisions.

Thanks for telling me. At least you saved me some time searching for nothing ☺️

I use one of these:

With one of these cables:

Sometimes You can get good picture even with such SD/FF, but monitor has to have good pixelclock/phase adjustement range.
Regarding the "VLR" adapters, your mileage may vary with each monitor, but it is also important to have the adapter with good filtering capabilities.

No scart or hdmi option on my monitors. My best option due to space limit is to share a monitor with my pc. Pc to vgi and Amiga to vga.
Of course cannot have them both together..

Clock or phase just moves the lines across the screen. So I must decide if like the lines here or there 😭
I have about 2-3 monitors more, so I can test them soon.

If you want the best picture quality , then buy an Indivision MK3, OSSC or Retrotink 5x. These devices are built for Retro gaming consoles and computers. A Scart to HDMI converter is only attended for VCRs and DVD players.
