Hi all,

For sale is a WarpEngine 4040 with 40mhz 68040.

Memory is 64MB on two simm sockets.

The other two sockets work but a previous owner cut the plastic clips down so the board will fit in a 3000D. As such, 128mb will work but you’d have to use tie-wraps or bands to hold in place the second two simms. Recommend you fit new ram sockets if you want the full 128MB.

Scsi works great.

I have been using this in my AA3000+ successfully, it’s a superb accelerator. This particular machine has a hole cut in the drive bay for a cpu fan.

I have also used this WarpEngine in my 4000D - it works fine there too.

It fits in my AA3000+ only with low profile simms (not the ones for sale here which are slightly taller), so you must get shorter ram to fit this in a 3000D case, and even then the fit is very very tight. As such, I would recommend this for 4000D. Anyone wishing to buy this for a 3000D takes a risk that clearance in their machine might not be enough.

The price is £600 plus shipping.

First refusal for 24 hours goes to @rimmer who has an open Wanted thread. I have PM’d him already. After 24 hours it goes to Interested buyers.

Yes, why I said “declare” line :) The one time I’m first, I’m not really first lol.

That can be a problem with Reserved items but I'm sure that if the item had been Reserved for you you'd be pleased.

congratulations rimmer, excellent card and excellent price, I also have one of these and this is also very good, as well as having an excellent DMA SCSI controller, It is easily modifiable to 060 and manages 80MHz or higher very well, however even in 040 40Mhz mode it is excellent

I had one with 040-->060 adapter, was stable on 100 MHz! This is the best big box Amiga CPU card ever! Only CSPPC can be better than.

Congrats to Rimmer as well. Seems like it would have made more sense to just reply to his wanted thread, or wait to post the listing until after conversations with Rimmer were over. I think a listing being posted with an immediate reserve defeats the point of the declare interest feature and list. Just my 2 cents. :) No hard feelings here, I am sure Rimmer wanted that card just like I did. :)

Deposit received from rimmer

Edit: All paid, will try and post this tomorrow
