Re: What made you smile today?

This is what made me smile today:

Flaunt (Sky Channel 376) - Nothing but Prodigy (4:00pm - 4:30pm)

Prodigy are gods!
Best half an hour of tunes on ANY music channel EVER!

Re: What made you smile today?

Reading JuvUK's workplace Web space today, OMG. - Maserati Servicing too.
My old man had an SM Maserati (Citroen). He bought the 52nd registered out of 60 Imported to the UK, back in 1972 on his 52nd Birthday. (that was the story he told me anyways)
He had it for about 15 months & sold it fed up of changing clutches every three thousand miles.
The smile for today was thinking back to that entire era. He drove 30 miiles to get to his Factory & had to take a different route every morning. He was always being stopped by the cozzers. He'd done nothing wrong, they just wanted to look at the car, but they were always trying to find some excuse to have a go over summat. Being ex RAF from WWII flying Spits & Mossies, the old fella wasn't having anything to do with that. He treated them like his servants.

Re: What made you smile today?

Reading this part of an email from Anthony Hoffman made me do this :woot:
Hi Magnus,
Good news, during reflow I was able to isolate the bad solder joints
which were preventing the card from working.
68060 and PPC operation are now working fine.
Especially after the initial mail a few days ago.
Hello Magnus,
I've been working on your Cyberstorm PPC board. Even with a new 68060
socket it's not operating, suggesting that there may be other faults on
the board.

Again :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

Re: What made you smile today?

Bente and I are wrapping up a minor remodelling of our flat just before we go on a three week holliday. We want everything to be done so that when we come home we come home to a tidy and nice home, not the dusty construction site which it is now.

Now what about this makes me smile?

1) I mis stacked my Farscape DVDs in the wall section. So that the boxes instead of spelling "FARSCAPE" spelled "FAR APE". That made me giggle, and that was before....

2) The "home minibar" is nothing but "mini". The bar is well stacked with various spirits and liqours. BUT, to my delight I observed that some bottles were near empty. Just a few. So now I'm killing off a bottle of smirnoff. I hace icecubes, a dash of Vodka and I thought Battery energy drink. Alas, no battery. But I had this berry energy drink called "Pure Rush". This is what me laught, it reacts very very badly to Vodka.... But as a good norwegian, I force it down. We would never pour out alchohol, and certainly not store bought vs home brewed! :ROTFLOL2:

Re: What made you smile today?

I always wanted a cat, and now I can rest assured that if I do get a cat, the work I do on my computer will be safe: PawSense.

It's an oldie, but still makes me smile.
