Did you ever get your PCMCIA slot working?

I'm struggling to get it to work with the image that Supaduper supplied. It works with the TF1260 installed if i boot from a floppy CF Rescue disk and also if I copy the required files from the floppy to Chucky's clean 3.1 image. but despite copying everything I can from the CF floppy to SupaDuper image I can't get it to work. It doesn't hang the system, just doesn't show up in WB.

Have any of you tried the PCMIA slot?

I was thinking of using it to transfer files but it seems to hang my system.

Not a biggy as I've got external access to the CF on the 1260 so I can use that for transferring stuff back and forth.

@ikorodu

Try installing Cardpatch from aminet.net ... See if that helps

Double check to see if the device driver is present in DEVS: and is being loaded during boot up.

Unfortunately real life has got in the way.

I won't be able to turn it on until Monday but will check then.

Compactflash.device is in devs. How do I check to see if it’s being loaded at boot?

Just installed pcmcia with CF0 and my works fine, if I boot the system and then put the PCMCIA card in it shows up, and you have the same system as me so there is something it does not like, might be the cf card as they are picky with some systems.

also I sent you an email

Has anyone used a buffered IDE interface either on the motherboard IDE or ideally on the EHIDE?

My new TF1260 really doesn't like my IDEFIX express running on either, but I need to get the CD drive back into the loop somehow, and I ideally will run a longish cable from the EHIDE port to the back of my checkmate case for extenal access to the main system card.

Yes! Tried another card and it worked. What’s strange to me is the fact that my other card works on the same hardware. Happy days, now I can transfer files with ease. Thanks all for your help and links.
