PS: 11 ribbon version are almost ready. I hope to have time to work onto tomorrow.

Here are some pictures of the switchers under construction.
7 are almost ready. Only the bi-color LED is to be soldered.
Will be finished this weekend.
50 boards are under construction.
5 boards (from cabissi to Flare in the table) will be include in the second batch.

When that will be your turn! I don't want to ask for money before that the Switcher is ready to be send.
Actually, only Stand Alone version of the Switcher has been sent. I've started with this version because I hadn't all parts for the ribbon version.
Now, Seven Ribbon version are finished. I'll test them this evening.
Monkeh (3RB), jcarvalho (1RB+1S.A),CrashMidnick (1RB+1S.A) and merlinkv (2RB) will receive a PM this evening after the test of their Switcher(s).

Hey, my friend, you didn't read the previous post that I have sent today?
I have explained that I hadn't all parts needed to make the Ribbon version of the Kickstart Switcher. The PCB was one of them... and without PCB, no switcher.
So, I have started with the Stand alone which is the original design. If you look at the table, you'll see that only Stand alone version Switchers have been sent.
Now, I'm working onto the Ribbon version, and seven are ready. They will be tested this evening, and as I said into the previous post, members in the following list are going to receive a PM this evening about their Switcher(s).
- Monkeh (3RB)
- jcarvalho (1RB+1S.A)
- CrashMidnick (1RB+1S.A)
- merlinkv (2RB)
If you look well, you are in second place in the list as in the table for Ribbon version. You want also a Stand alone version which is ready and tested, but I didn't contact you because you want also the Ribbon version. I though that should be a good idea to send the two adapters in the same parcel to limit the shipping costs.

@Tuxbar Great project do you have any Ribbon units available and do they fit under Kippers RAM+CF-IDE board's (with adapter board to move it away from the keyboard) in the a500?
PS. the hold down time seems quite long, it it possible to shorten it to say 3 seconds?

Yes!
The video shows a very long reset time. Now, the Reset's time needed to swap the Kickstart is between 4 and 5 seconds.
