Wow I want one of these. But I have to make two posts here before I can send a PM.

I assume these would work on an A1000 if I can get a ROM solution going. What ROM adapter projects are compatible with this board?

I guess if you get an v40.063 (512KByte) or V37.350 KS-ROM it should work.

EDIT: 37.350 and other KS2.05 and 2.04 are 512 KBytes in size, not 256 KBytes? Also corrected KS3.1 V40.063 to 512 KBytes, not 512MB.

Hi mate. Good job with these products. Fun & useful

When you'll have a chance to build again some angled IDE to CF cards adaptor for A600/1200 please count me for 4 of them. Yes: 4. :p

Cheers.

Hi.
I haven't got much idea how these ide boards will fit or even work with accelerator boards. In cases where the dip-64 signals are wired directly from accelerator's bottom pins to top socket, it shouldn't matter if the ide board is placed at the bottom or the top side socket.

About v401 ide: I've exported the cpld pin list from the pcb software and will convert it for the cpld design software. When i'll get the cpld code to process to a jed file, it can be downloaded to the v401 board assembled earlier.

About v296: i've got one with broken copper tracks replaced with soldered wires now. It needs testing, and then fixing the thin wires in place with epoxy (or hot) glue.
There's an uncounted number of old incompleted v295 and v296 boards.

Angled cf adapter: parts for 20 boards, and some older boards that are not yet necessarily working.

Hello!
Im not sure if you still sell the angled IDE to CF adaptor. But im interested in one.
sending a PM to check:)

Feedback left Rakeim and gounderset. I'll also try to leave the feedbacks which I haven't yet later.

Converted cpld code for v401 and it appears to work (boots from a cf-card in adapter at the end of 40-pin cable).

So when they will be ready ?

I'll be home on monday and i'll be making some adapters a couple of days next week, and probably away by the end of week.
I'll take prepayments.
Price for one pce: 40 euros, registered mail 7 euros. I've also got one completed angled ide to cf adapter (20 euros) and to ps/2 mouse adapters (10 euros/1pce)

Please tell what kind of 40-pin connector you want: right-angle or straight, "boxed"("walled") or "plain" pin header. NOTE: The 40-pin connector is very close to the CPU, so though a straight ide connector can be placed on the pcb, the space is limited so that a 68000 CPU can be placed on the board, but nothing wider, such as 'riser' socket or some other adapter or memory board, but with a right angle connector such things might fit.

I'm going to place /int2, /ovr and led signals on the pads at the end of the board (marked SPARE_IO)

OK. Count me in for 1 please. Like the one in the photo.

The jumper next to the IDE is used for what ?

The wiring will be like the v296 version ? Wires will go the zorro expansion ?

The 2-pin header next to IDE has the /ovr and /int2 signals. These will signals be duplicated on other cpld pins, and pads on pcb.
The signals can be connected to pads on mainboard next to the 86-pin edge connector, but they can be found on other places which may vary by version of A500 mainboard.

I've been busy, no v401 assembled yet.

Next to 2-pin header there's an smd led.
When led output signal is "duplicated" on other cpld pins it will be without a series resistor, which is therefore needed externally.

Note: the top metal shield of A500 may not fit back in when using these ide adapters.

Of course shield is history.

Let me know please either here or with PM when you can send me a 401.

Thanks.
