CDTV Kickstart Switch and Known Working 3.1 ROM

I have 2.30 extended ROMs in my CDTV but so far every 3.1 ROM I have burned (confirmed working in 500 and 2000) fails to come up when inserted into my CDTV. I'm being told it may require a ROM switcher or a special chip with pins swapped.

If you have a known working in a CDTV 3.1 ROM and/or a known working ROM switcher please PM. I am located in the US.

What do you mean 'fail to come up'?
It will still show cdtv screen unless you disable the extended rom. (With JP15)

Fails as in I get nothing but a black screen with or without J15 closed when a 3.1 ROM is installed. Works perfectly fine with the stock 1.3 and the 2.0 from my A600. Not sure what the deal is with 3.1 ROMS. I dont think this CDTV seems to like EPROMS, but thats all I have to test with.

just buy a rom from amigakit.com ... i had the same problem as you in my A600...only guru or black screen... they sell good ones..I'd say as good as stock ones.
