CyberstormPPC 604e issues

Hi

Recently I installed my "new" CSPPC 604e 060/050 233

I have OS3.9 BB3 with WarpOS.

Scout recognizes the board but not the speed of PPC.

Sometimes system hangs, sometime boots fine........

Anyone have any idea?

All components works fine with CS MK-II (changing INT<=>EXT jumpers)

1) Upgrade flash to latest firmware http://phase5.a1k.org/
2) Try to insert good RAM modules (Samsung or SEC branded produced in 1999 or later)
3) Please try on different mobo/PSU (you might have problem with voltage stability)
4) There is a special patch for CSPPC with 604e@233MHz fixing some timing issues; try csppc233fix.lha from Aminet
5) Are you sure that your 604e is 233MHz version (no overclocking)? Please take-off heatsink and check.

Try with WhichAmiga.. latest version found here.. http://www.sintonen.fi/sw/WhichAmiga.lha
Should show correct info about PPC.
Also, have you pushed the card correctly into the socket? Thats a known problem..
And as stachu100 said it could be a PSU problem as I see you have a lot of hardware in your A4000.
And set the RAM-Speed to 70ns in the CSPPC bootmenu.

I updated BIOS with 44.71.... Done

WichAmiga recognizes all... seems to be OK...but.. Mouse dissapear

I believe is a problem of the mobo. I test on another A4000 and works fine......(but the same problem with WichAmiga/Mouse)

So, My Tower project is stopped again........
