Drop the forum name from the proof of ownership requirements?

Could prove beneficial as we already know where the item is up for sale.

I Disagree. The whole point of the proof of ownership is to show that the item is being displayed properly for sale on this great place. It prompts for cloned photos from other selling sites. Don’t forget that those who become trusted members on here don’t have to prove anything. But for those noobs who join…. you just don’t know. Trust has to be earned on here. 👍🏻😉

No

Forum name
Member name
Date

Proves the item was in the hands of the seller at the time of the listing

Any 1 of those missing would open up the ability to abuse found images from this and other sites being used here

It was just a thought as it seems to be the most common thing people don't put on their proof picture to begin with.

As I said, it's probably because the FAQ's phrasing is confusing. Had the FAQ said to write "Amibay", or given an example, it would have been clearer. Saying to put the "forum name" alongside "your forum name" is confusing phrasing that can seem like an error in the FAQ.

Actually a valid point for our non-native English speakers.

it is explained in my thread but in the rules maybe a change ???

I suggest to end this "thread inside the thread" and also it can be cleaned up if necessary from comment #51 onwards.
