Hey guys! :D

I thought I'd set this thread up nice and early to give people time to set some cash aside, raise it or what have you.

I've been in touch with our buddy Krikzz and he has confirmed that he is happy to go ahead with another group buy in September as promised.

I'm just in the process of setting up the deals and discussing prices with him, so please nobody declare interest just yet! I will start taking orders somewhere around first or second week of September and the list of what is available along with prices will be put up in this thread then.

This year I will go about things a little more organised. The rules below are simply to avoid any arguments or disputes which may arise as a result of any misunderstandings which I would rather not have :).

The Rules...
International buyers will be posted separately from UK buyers so I can better organise the receipts and dispatches.

Postage insurance will be a necessity on ALL orders this time around to cover both our butts in the event that Royal Fail decide to lose anyone's order. Not only is it unfair to you if your order goes missing, but it makes me feel bad putting the effort in only to have disappointed members as a result.

If your orders haven't been paid by the deadline, your order will be forfeit unless otherwise agreed with me.

I will act in all fairness and within my power to make sure everyone is happy. But I am not a business or trader and am acting only as a middle man for your purchases. Before placing any orders you must agree to this and understand that I am doing this for Amibay and its members in my spare time. If any delays occur in dispatching your order once they arrive I can only apologise for that and will do everything I can to make sure your orders arrive safely given a fair chance.

If anything above or anything else about the group buy seems unreasonable to you, then please do not place an order.

Any questions or comments please don't hesitate to PM me and I will see what I can do for you.

Thanks :)

hmm might this be for a mega everdrive

They will definitely be available I would imagine!

I'm gong to discuss what will be available with Krikzz over the coming weeks and we will find some nice prices that work for everyone while were at it

I would be interested in a Super Everdrive for the SNES :).

Hey pedro! While it's very exciting, I'm not taking orders just yet as stated in the first post. Please hold your orders for when the prices are finalised and posted ;)

Thanks!

Just posted to give an ideia of interest, I know you're not making a order list yet , Thanks!

Hey! Good idea!

Bad_ad84 is going to make a bad ass mod to my snes and it will certainly need a Super Everdrive as well. I was going to go pre order from a uk shop but if you guys are doing group order then that will be even better.

Just that the opening post would have been more helpful if it at least stated which machines were involved because there are everdrives for so many different machines.

edit: Oh now I understand better. I never looked in the previous group buy thread because megadrive was not of interest to me and the thread title in that one suggested it was for megadrive and initially it was but it kind of expanded from there!

And no, this is not official declaration of interest yet but then... what would I say in this thread? Just leave it at the first row and just say: Hey good idea! ... okay I´ll make the rest of this post so small that you can´t see it.

Added some preliminary rules / guidelines which may be amended before I begin taking orders. I managed to keep on top of things last group buy but there were a few hicups along the way. Hopefully by adding these things will go even smoother this time around

 I should inform you that I was recently given a prescription for reading glasses, and that did not help! :p

No need to change font size. If were using this thread as a preliminary discussion thread I may as well create a separate thread once the prices are in.

To answer your question even though you appear to have gotten the gist of it, the group buy will be for as many Everdrives as I can manage to negotiate a deal with from Krikzz. There will be an official order list posted once the prices and models have been agreed

That is one of the things I can ask for you and part of the purpose of setting this thread up so early.

I will ask about it and post updates as soon as I know anything.

The what? How come I never heard of that sd2snes thing!?

Looking forward to another group buy, i could do with ones for Master System and Game Gear (depending on if i dont win the one i'm watching on ebay). I've also been considering a Nintendo console recently since i've never really played any of the nes/snes/n64 consoles.

Will await pricing and the other thread :)

Thanks Amineo

No probs scrappy... For the pricings, I cant say for sure but I would expect similar to the last one for the standard everdrives.

PS, The ninty consoles are definately worth investing in. Especially the SNES, so many 16bit classics...

Since I sold my Everdrive with the intention of getting a Mega Everdrive, I might get one of those when I see what the price is.

I am interested in a Turbo Everdrive (NEC PC-Engine)... Would this one also be available in this group buy?

I'm not sure which ones will be in it just yet as I have only just had confirmation Krikzz will do one. But as a rough guide I would say anything that is orderable at retrogate that's been in stock up to now will be orderable from this, but dont quote me on that, I don't know for certain until I get an official list from Krikzz

for me a Turbo Everdrive and an N64 Everdrive as well!

possibly a GameGear Everdrive too

I forgot to ask, can the Turbo Everdrive be cased and still used? Also is anyone going to be knocking up Mega Everdrive shells?

I should be able to do some shells if people dont mind sending me donor carts and chucking me some tokens for my time. not sure about labels though.

Im after a Turbo Everdrive (PCE) and an SNES Everdrive also
