@MoreBITS

Thanks for the interest! I'll send you a PM Thursday. :)

@All

It's definitely a snug fit, but a standard Commodore cartridge can be used with the both the sockets and the chips. The jumper for the EEPROM selection is the tallest part of the cartridge. :D

First post updated with payments and interest.

Everyone,

Please look at the labels in the first post then send me a PM with the size and colors that you want. You get one label per PCB or Kit. You can get a different label for each kit/pcb you've ordered.

Thanks!

@ SdG

Mine can be sent without a label, thanks.

OK, I'm not getting much feedback on which labels people want so here's the deal. I'm making the White text on Red background the official labels. If you do not specify which colors you want, you will get this label.

Since I can fit one Commodore style label and one icomp.de style label on a single label, each PCB or Kit will come with a label for both style carts.

Sorry heather I did mean to pm but got distracted, but the white on red sounds great to me though

A quick update for everyone.

PCB only orders have started to ship. I was hoping the parts for the kits would arrive today, but it is going to be on Monday. It will take me an evening or two to break out all the parts into separate kits. I will send shipping quotes for kits after that.

The back ordered chip *should* ship to me on December 8. I'll have all the other kits ready to go and I'll collect postage while waiting for the chips to arrive. That way, I can ship them immediately after they come in.

Thanks everyone for your patience. :)

Hi Heather,

I'm sure I speak for us all that we appreciate your hard work getting this all together.

As for the labels, may I have the white on red - The smaller one please.

Thanks.

Hi Heather,

I was also thinking to thank you for all these hard working...
Merlin acted before :)
So +1 Merlin...

Thanks guys! I'm happy to bring this project to the community. Surprisingly, managing all the payments and shipping are the most difficult parts. I hadn't expected that. :)

Everyone,

I need to put a pause on taking new kit orders for the moment. I still have plenty of PCBs and I will probably have some extra parts for kits but I'd like to fulfill all the paid orders first.

I'll keep track of all the interest then update the thread if there are more available.

Thanks!

Heather

Another quick update. Other than the back ordered parts, everything else has arrived. I did a quick inventory of the package and it looks like all the parts are there so I'm going to begin packaging kits together tonight. It may be a couple days before I'm ready to begin shipping kits.

As I said previously, labels will come with both a small and large label on a single sticker. Since these are not die cut labels, you need to cut out the label you want to use before peeling the back off the sticker. It just takes a minute with some scissors. You want to cut off the black line around the label.

I'll post more updates once I have more information.

Final Cartridge III+ PCB / Kit Pre-Order

I bought this case from eBay from eBay seller FreeWeb. $10 shipped in the USA! Can you make a short label for this one Heather?

That's the standard Commodore size case so you can use any of the small versions of the labels that I created.

*IMPORTANT UPDATE*

The back ordered parts are expected to ship to me on December 9. They also only sent 70 of those chips during the first shipment instead of the 78 they said they had on hand. Because of this, I am only going to be able to ship 71 kits until the additional parts are received. There are 71 kits because I'm taking the chip out of the test build cartridge to send to one of you instead of keeping it for myself. I don't mind waiting.

There have been a few people who have responded to my request to volunteer to get their kit later but nowhere near the number needed. Unfortunately, this means that I need to go by the order in which I received payment for the kits. The only exception is the 24 kits that are going to e5frog's group. His group's kits are going out first because this project would not have been possible without his work designing the board and his assistance helping me to create the production run.

You can still contact me if you want to volunteer to get your kit later.

Thanks,

Heather

If it's just the EPROM missing, you can send mine without the EPROM and use the saved cash for the postal costs.

Bryce.
