If you dont like its, then I will eat my hat.

Not sure on returning it though. Dont think they will take it back unless its faulty.
Way I see it, you bought it, thats life. I bought an ipad and I dont like it, but I would never return it.

I am thinking of Selling it because I am disappointing with it :(

I'm only selling my Nexus 7 if I find I'm not using it after I get my Nexus 10.

I figured months ago that I wanted a 10" 2560x1600 display tablet. I didn't want a 1280x800, 7" tablet. Then the Nexus 7 came out at £199 and I had the money so I got it.

It's in the top 10 of best purchasing decisions ever. I use it every single day for a multitude of things.

Steaming movies from my home server with Emit. Listening to podcasts and catching up on specific news with BeyondPod. Reddit via BaconReader. Bedtime reading via the Kindle app. Streaming live TV with TVCatchup. Occasional iPlayer. Facebook. MAME (with Xbox gamepad via a USB OTG cable). Twitter for two accounts.

Wow. I didn't even realise I did all that stuff until I thought about it for this post.

My laptop now only really gets used for typing longer forum posts and gaming :)

spashtop 2 is awesome, I can stream my PC games to my nexus in fullscreen, :). Very cool, you can even setup the controls how you want.
Been playing mass effect with it.

I have'nt heard of a 3G one, only the 32GB version.
EDIT:- Apparently they are, 3 will be selling them in the UK.

Thats a shame, cause its far more capable than an IPAD. I use it for everything.

Local server,
Streaming 3D PC games,
Internet,
Skype,
Android 3D Games,
Emulation,
Personal Email (ISP)

I also use it alot in work for stuff like;
Order tracking,
Jobs for the day,
Schematic Diagrams (saves me going back and for to PC).
Work Email (Server)

List is endless.

I have also been running it at 1.8GHz for a few months. Makes it blow everything else away.

That is an amazing price for the upcoming 3G version, and it really highlights how much Apple have been ripping of its customers for larger ram version and especially the 3G versions of the iPad, which can command £100+ on top of the WiFi only version.

Very tempted to get one, even though I already have a 16GB WiFi version.

he was getting the 32gb but I told him to wait for the 3g due mid Nov

Sorry to hijack the thread (a little) I wonder if the Genesis gt-7200 worth a buy.

I'm wanting a cheap tablet for home using.

Have you looked at the Acer Iconia tablets? They seem very cheap, but with Android 4.1 and lots of features. I would still pick the Nexus 7 over the cheaper poorly built tablets though.

@AF: yes, it have a built-in accelerometer alongside with all features of Android 4 ICS.

It just doesn't have HDMI output (not that I care) nor built-in 3G. But it is cheap as chips and that's enough to watch videos on utoob and do general mail plus the now-&-then obligatory gaming.

It is definitely the best device I've used yet for youtube consumption!

Notice that it got Jelly bean 4.2 update and what does this really mean?

4.2 adds bug fixes and updates to the already great 4.1

It now had built in swipe texting, so you no longer needed to manually install the swipe keyboard. I love swipe typing. Really speeds it up compared to typing one letter at a time. Also called gesture typing by some.

Google Now gets some updates to feed even more information about current location, events and scheduled tasks (flights, train times etc), restaurants.

The camera app gets an overhaul, minimising the UI to make taking pictures less cluttered. Not so important for a tablet as the new Nexus 4.

Miracast compatibility. Allowing devices to connect wirelessly to compatible TVs and other devices to mirror what's on the mobile device.

New quick settings feature by swiping 2 fingers down from the top.

HDR more. The camera app finally gets built-in HDR mode.

Photo Sphere. Create Googlemap style panoramas.

Instagram filters

Lockscreen widgets. Able to add widgets to the lockscreen, so can view information without needed to unlock the phone.

Multiple user profiles on Tablets.

So quite a few new features really for a point release.
