from Buzzfuzz
"I agree with John, I'm already happy to have a working product, finetuning is just details and I'm sure Jens will fix that.

I have had some problems with my ACA1230/56 too, but now the Amiga 1200 is the most stable one, but I think also the new 17.0 WHDLoad is far more stable than the previous 16.9.

Tomorrow, I will order a few long IDE cables so the HDD can sit near my second ACA1230/56, it's now a Blizzard 1260, but I prefer a HDD in there.

Would be nice if someone made a bracket that replaces the old one and has enough clearance for the Indi MKII."

i think he was saying he should use a fastata to get over the ide cable length problem:thumbsup:

Unfinished beta product with that price...

You expect a product made in small numbers to have been beta tested by a large team?

I'm afraid you wont see any mass produced cheap products for 20 year old computers :coffee:

There's no money in it, we're lucky there are people like Jens still producing upgrades for our systems and resellers like Amigakit supplying them

You are absolutely right of course. And I will most probably get one myself, in due time. Was a bit frustrated when I wrote that, I want it to be perfect now! :)

hi guru

take the indy off and make sure its fitted square over chip and give it a firm push on to chip as it needs a bit of force and check its flush with the motherboard

and try again :)

I experience the exact same symptoms... going to try a different monitor. Now using a little Medion flatscreen TV with VGA.

While using my large Samsung flatscreen i am able to get a picture on screen however not perfect.

My best guess is that my Compaq TFT8030 flat panel will work but unable to test at the moment.

Microsoft does this everytime for ALL their products... and there are billions of users who are hostages of this decision to release unfinished products.

At least the Amiga communeauty has the choice to accept this: you are not forced to buy this masterpiece of hardware which makes the Amiga still amazing in 2012...

Finally got both my Indivision AGA Mk2's installed today. :)

Indivision aga mk ii issue

Indivision aga mk ii issue

i have installed a few days ago an indivision aga mk ii in my amiga 1200 (configuration: aca 1231/42, subway usb, cf 4GB, indivision aga mk ii, pcmcia ethernet card from amigakit, lightweight power supply for amiga 1200 from amigakit) I have noticed an issue in highgfx at maximum resolution interlaced and hd 720 at maximu resolution interlaced. When i connect to the big book of amiga hardware web page under amiga 1200 accelerator, blizzard ppc 603e+, i get a black screen when loading the images of the page in dvi connection, with vga and hdmi i get orizontal flickering and in hdmi after a black screen until it loads the image, (the same loading images under google image) after that i have a flickered disturbed orizontal lines moving all over the screen. Anyone have this problem? I can think it needs more power.
thank you for your help

i did get plenty of artifacts before fitting the fan on indy

your alice chip may need a cooler or heatsync too

also you may need more powerful psu
lightweight power supply for amiga 1200 from amigakit
