Only started recently after watching so many videos of retro games, where the names like 'amiga' and 'Commodore 64' kept on popping up...
So.... about a couple of months i finally took the gamble and bought a yellowed A1200 (probably gonna retrobright it in the future... oh and has anybody got a spare qwerty keyboard? the one i have has a qwertz keyboard and it annoys me like hell!!!).
It worked but the harddrive was noisy as hell and so i replaced with a flashcard harddrive.
Next thing i got was a accelerator card, in the form of the blizzard 1230 mk IV card, a cracking accelerator card.... and ofcourse... games!!! not much at this moment but they are growing steadily...
Only thing is that i'm (yet) unable to transfer programs from the PC to the Amiga... I am using the flashcard to pcmcia method.. but with no real succes... i keep on trying
Now... not long ago... i went even further!
I bought a C64C with various games and it appears to have an issue with the joystick port... i'm not sure if it's the chip that's causing the issue (all keyboard commands work fine tho, i've checked them) or... bad soldering on the board, since it's the last revision board...
I dunno.. only time will tell.
