Received mine today, thanks r0jaws looks awesome won't get a chance to test till the w/e but from what other are saying I don't expect to have any problems. Leaving feedback now :)

Wow fantastic idea, have you mentioned this over Jamma+ as there are sure to be a few guys interested

I'm off work today with a bad back so thought I'd give the cable a try, really awesome picture quality very very happy with it I feel lucky to have one. In years to come people will look at my TG16 setup and say "oh wow I see you have an original r0jaws RGB cable, please let me buy it from you for £5000" LOL seriously though what a great bit of kit and also what a great system the TG is I must admit I have not played mine much since getting it a while ago due to the lack of RGB input some great games there. Can anyone recommend some to try? I have the everdrive cart so can play pretty much any game suggested.

Soldier Blade, Final Soldier, Saigo no Nindo (Ninja Spirit), Parasol Stars, Gekisha Boy, OutRun, Parodius, Salamander, Gradius, Neutopia, Bonk, Air Zonk, Jackie Chan, Military Madness... I could actually go on and on and this are only the Hu-Card games to start with ;) Any favorite genre?

Thanks mmora that should keep me busy for a while! I like sports, driving, puzzle, platform games best

Then, as I like puzzle games too, I have a couple special recommendations for you: Be Ball (Chew Man Fu in the US) and Gomola Speed. Relatively obscure but really great little games. I forgot to mention another great game, Valkyrie no Densetsu, although it's more like a Run'n'gun. This will definitely keep you busy ;)

Justin asked this very question not long back, this is the list I gave him then...

Bomberman 94, A great representation of a classic game. A 4 player adapter needed for multiplayer though.
Outrun, A simply ace and faithful reproduction.
Bonk's Revenge, More than just a Mario-a-like, it has some great innovations and puzzles to keep you interested. Infact the series is great fun.
SideArms: Hyperdyne, Another arcade conversion. Side scrolling shooting mayhem. This is double, double hard.
Tricky Kick, another innovative puzzler. Probably not so great if you have an objection to kicking cute animals about a screen though.
Circus Lido, A frankly bizarre and tricky puzzler where you play a Gecko chomping your way through a variety of bugs that imbue with abilities to solve each screen
New Zealand Story, Another great arcade conversion
Don Doku Don, A Bubble Bobble/ Snow Bros alike affair. Great fun and graphics.
Gunhead/ Blazing Lazers. Frankly, in the huge amount of competition for top down scrolling shooters on this system, this is the daddy. Bright, well drawn sprites, awesome power-ups and great fun.
Soldier Blade What I said above, sorry, total horlicks. I made a mistake, this is the daddy of them all. Bonkers gameplay, awesome powerups and great music to blast along too.
Galaga 90, Galaga, but with nicer sprites. I like my classic arcade shooters.
Chew Man Fu Another puzzler, a maze game where you push around coloured balls. Sounds dull, but it's not, it's great fun.
Coryoon Side scrolling shooter using a baby dragon as the main protagonist. Looks cutesie, but is also a satisfying blast-em up.
Hana Taka Daka Pretty much as above, but with a Goblin and ace power ups.
1943 Another Arcade conversion, top scrolling shooter faithful to the Arcade .
Photo Boy A system exclusive (I think) where you play a "paparazzi" type photog snapping pics of interest to your editor as the world scrolls in front of your eyes. Watch out for UFOs and starletts exposing themselves. A sometimes funny and very entertaining break from all the blast em ups.
Air Zonk. My absolute favourite side scrolling shooter, based on future Bonk. Total nutty shoot em up carnage with weird and amusing power ups and fantastic boss fights. Get this game.
Ninja Spirit Shuriken/ sword run and slash em up scrolling platformer with tough bosses and great game mechanics. I love this game.
R-Type Keith's favourite, and an almost perfect conversion of the original arcade game.

Cable received today, just had a quick look & it's a nice improvement, thanks!

Would I be able to buy another cable from the next batch?

Slightly off topic but does anyone (or perhaps r0jaws himself) know where I could get a nice/tidy rgb mod on an IFU-30?

Glad you like it. :)
I shall put your name down for Batch 3. if we get enough interest again, I'll get onto Todd about some more amps.
I don't have an IFU-30 I'm afraid so I'm not even sure what it's native out put is, I'm guessing composite? It should be entirely possible to use one of Todd's amps to create an RGB output for it though.

I haven't I'm afraid, I don't mind doing another batch if there's enough interest, but unfortunately I don't go on Jamma+ much.

I just saw these over at J+ thanks to Beaps. I sent you a PM over there but I guess it's a good idea to state my interest here.

I would love to put my name for one please, they look great! :)

Picked my cable up from the post office today. Had a chance to test it this afternoon and it works very well and I'm really happy with it. Picture is lovely even on my 42" LG TV. Thank you r0jaws for the work, and Thgill for the amp :D

Now I just need to find a way to boost the audio :D

The volume output is low from mine too, I connected my coregrafx up with the composite cable simultaneously with the RGB scart just to do some comparisons but the audio is a similar level.

The RGB amp board doesn't touch the audio lines so a separate mod would need to be added to the cable. Not sure how though.

Yes, the standard output of an IFU-30 is composite, I have seen RGB mods where a din is fitted to the rear but it doesn't look discreet enough, mine is mint, hence I'd like it to be done as sympathetically as possible.

I'm in no rush to have mine RGB'd now because I've just impulsively bought a duo-r from Doujindance (I blame this thread;).

Let me know if you want a deposit for the additional cable.

It's possible for r0jaws to add female phono connectors (L+R) on the cable, which could then be used with an amp but that's already possible with most TV's anyway.
