I got one of Majsta's Vampire 600 accelerators today. Installation was pretty straightforward and it worked right out of the box. Here are a few pics with mandatory SysInfo. :)

Thank you Majsta for this wonderful accelerator! :)

Are these for sale now?:wooha::bowdown::drool:

Today I received some fun stuff in the mail:
80486 cooler (still with paste & fan) [----] (I will install this once I get the i80486DX33)
CT1600 Sound Blaster Pro 2 [----] (I will keep this as a backup / collection item)
IBM USB Floppy Drive [----] (works great)

I also went to my local Goodwill (thrift shop) and bought:
PC Game Raider joystick [----], NIB / NOS
IDE CD-ROM drive [----] (not installed yet)
DIN (with PS/2 converter) keyboard [----], NIB/NOS Micro Innovations

I also bought some stuff online, which should be on the way soon:
Sound Blaster 1.0 CT1320 [----]
i480486DX33 [----]
MS-DOS 6.0 with COA [----]

I am still negotiating for another Roland RAP-10, 3 X Roland LAPC-I, 2 X Roland MCB-1, 1 X Roland MCB-10 and 1 X Roland SCD-15. With some of these items I am not 100% confident sellers will get back to me. :D

Fun fun fun!

The PC Game Raider joystick works really well with the CT1690 that I installed in my 486 IBM. I have player Lotus - The Ultimate Challenge with it already this evening. Hopefully I can get some nice Roland MIDI once I get some more equipment in next week.

My Play Expo purchases :)

As you can see I didn't buy much, mostly due to the outrageous prices by the vendors there

Cheaper on eBay even with the postage!

Picked up a couple of 2600 starwars games at play expo but as Fitzsteve said the prices weren't exactly great

There were some bargains to be had on the smaller stalls but all the business sellers were high, I guess they have costs to cover so it's maybe a little harsh to give them too much stick.

It was nice to see some of the rare items in the flash even if I couldn't afford to buy them :)

No picture as i'm at work right now, but on Saturday I picked up an almost mint Nintendo DSi XL (Brown) complete with box, manuals and all the included accessories. Also came with an extra wall charger (not included with a new DSi XL) and 3 boxed games (Dogz, Zoo Tycoon and some other game).

All for the price one would normally pay for a DS Lite.

i got soo much stuff at play expo, since getting back though its all just stopped in the bags and boxes as this is the one thing i really wanted to get out and play. Been after one for years but always missed out on one at these events. So this year it was my turn to buy one before the doors opened to the general public :-)

boxed jap virtual boy, complete with instructions and other leaflets, two games too - warioland and jack bros both complete.

but later that day i went on ebay to look for virtual boy games and ended up buying another machine from america with games and spare pad too!! only i could get two machines in one day.

also got some other goodies too like 3 famicom disk games, boxed gx4000, saturn usb pads etc

@Bobpard

Wow wow wow. Very nice! I've been after one of those for ages!

Very nice find and Wario Land for the VB is excellent!

Love the VB, have owned two including Wario Land which is awesome!
Yesterday I scored myself a free A500 with bunch of stuff! Only some few fixes here and there.

Got my copy of Sensible Software 1986 - 1999 book today. A year later after ordering from the Kickstarter campaign! Well worth the wait, really nice quality throughout...

As a benefactor I get a signed copy by Mr. Jon Hare, custom dust jacket (not shown) and my name is in there too :)

Actually going to buy another copy as this is too nice and collectable to read!

If you'd like one then grab them here > http://www.readonlymemory.vg/

Got a new Desk! :)

No more working on Amiga's on the Dining table

Now I just need a nice Desk lamp as it's a little bit dark in this corner...

Yeah it's glass top, won it locally on eBay along with a really nice cabinet with doors (somewhere to store my consoles)

Was thinking an anglepoise lamp or similar

Will have my PC on there as I have to loose my smaller PC desk but still plenty of space as it's 1.6m wide
