Hi,

I've been having an issue with CD-rom in my A4000. I've gotten my hands on a Cyberstorm Mk2 040 with SCSI-controller and I'm using it with SCSI2SD rev6. I've set it to async, and it's reaching good speeds reliably, but my CDrom is just kicking up errors when I put a disk in. If I go into SCSItools and unitcontrol set the CDrom (device 5) to synchronous (and 5mb) it works perfectly. Is there a way to automate this? It's a bit of a hassle to have to go into settings every time I boot the machine up. SCSIinit does not store settings, but I assume there is a way to get it into startup-sequence or wbstartup or something like that?

All suggestions are greatly appreciated. :)

You should be able to do it with myunitcontrol on aminet. You can put it in your startup-sequence or user-startup. I use it on my system and it works to set the scsi mode (eg. to synchronous in my case).
