======CLOSED FOR ORDERS SEE NEW THREAD========
https://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?70457-Tapuino-C64-Tape-Emulator-PCBs-kit-2nd-batch

I'm going to do a first run of 10 PCBs for the Tapuino created by sweetlilmre.

Tapuino PCB v1.4.pngDSC03546c.jpg

Look in the forum for more info :https://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?63166-Tapuino-the-20-C64-Tape-Emulator

I reserve 2 PCBs for me and 1 for sweetlilmre.
The other 7 I will put for sale once assembled and tested the first unit. I will also put for sale a complete unit assembled (35 Euros+pp)

I was planning also to make a kit including all the components except the arduino, SD shield and LCD, dirty cheap on ebay.
In this way you only need a piece of 6 pole cable and this 3 components, and of course soldering skills to assemble.

The price for PCB only is 5 Euros +pp
The price for the kit without box is 16 Euros +pp
The price for the kit including the box is 21 Euros +pp

PP registered for Europe is 6 Euros for 1-2 PCBs, 7 Euros for 3-5 PCBs and 11 Euros up to 25 PCBs.
PP registered for the rest of the world is 7 Euros for 1-2 PCBs, 8 Euros for 3-5 PCBs and 15 Euros up to 25 PCBs.

If someone wants ordinary mail (no tracking) prices are 3,4,9 and 4,5,12. Take it at your own risk.

PP registered for Europe is 7 Euros for 1 kit. Untracked 4 Euros.
PP registered for the rest of the world is 8 Euros for 1 kit. Untracked 5 Euros.

I will calculate PP for kits + box later.

Payments with Paypal gift. If someone wants paypal invoice prices will increase to cover paypal fees, ask for price please.
Remember to send me your postal address.

The box (PP9) is available in black&ivory, my local supplier only has black (need to order in ivory but coud take long), could be included, but is quite easy to find:
http://www.supertronic.com/en/distributor_network
http://www.evatron.com/index.php?pag=product&cid=10&sid=58&pid=880&l=2

The first batch orders for PCBs only are ready to ship, so you can pay now, ask for details.

I put the users that declared interest in the original Tapuino forum.

Please send a PM asking for details to pay and your postal address or any question.

The 2nd batch will take longtime, 3-6 weeks at least, and I can´t assure that prices are the same, I will open a new thread.

Interested in 1 kit with the box.

This is a really cool project, I've following it since the start and it's great it's reached this point :)

First batch of PCBs shipped yesterday from HK, should arrive in 2-3 weeks.

Meanwhile I was making the rectangular hole for LCD with the help of a guide for centering holes.

IMG_0414c.jpgIMG_0415c.jpgIMG_0417c.jpgIMG_0418c.jpgIMG_0419c.jpg

The finish is not very polished but my mechanical skill are limited, and the only tools: drill and lime.
Must be very carefull to hold the cover when drilling.
Will look for black screws or put a black vynil to cover them.

All this will be included in the kit.
The switches can also be the SKHHLSA010 from Alps or DTSA-65R from Diptronics.

The box recommended for this is Supertronic PP9, I have put a link in the first post.
The kits with box will also include the screws needed to fix LCD and PCB to box, but you need to drill the holes for LCD, buttons, cable & datassette input.

I need to receive the PCBs and check.

I have some card edge connectors (CN2) for C64 datassette port , as I use them for a datassette emulator kit (MP32C64).
Also I think I have some spare switches, but need to check.

I think that's all, but not really sure.

Would like to change my reservation from one pcb to a complete kit including box. Local electronics components shops drove me mad lately. Thank you.

I believe that the TTL 74HC4052 can be replaced with similar CMOS CD4052, MC14052, HEF4052, HCF4052, easier to find and with less power.
If I can I will do some tests ...
Regards

I used the 74HC4052 because it was in my local shop, but all this should work also.

@spcbm
Ok, but I have already a MOS HCF4052BE (STMicroelectronics) and then maybe I'll try this. When will the circuit boards put a socket on 4052 so I will be able to change it if necessary ...
Thanks for your reply!

Received first batch of PCBs and assembled the first unit to test.
PCB is working OK, just tested loading a game, save from C64 to SD and save from Tapuino to datassette.

So, the PCBs only orders are ready to ship, see the first post with updated information and prices.
