I saw issues posted regarding A2000 Rev 6 boards on other forum. Please withdraw me for now. Disappointed but thank you for being up front about issues. I hope issue is resolved and you will be still making cards in future as this seemed like best opportunity to get something more modern in my A2k.

Doug
I haven't attempted to install the TF536 I purchased for my A2000 yet, and just confirmed that both boards that I have are Rev 6, unfortunately. Is it possible to use the TF536 that I intended for the A2000 in an A1000?
I'm glad to hear that the A500 isn't impacted, as I already purchased a CF card with adapter, and a 3.1 ROM for that machine, to go with the TF536 I purchased for that machine.
It only impacts SOME A2000s, so it may still work for you... give it a try. Because this was newly discovered, I am still not sure what causes this.
It should work on the A1000 with a kickstart adapter, but I will check and confirm tomorrow.

Ok, I'll give it a shot on one of the A2000's that I have. I believe that I already have a kickstart switcher for the A1000, so if you find that it works for that model I might just install it in that machine.
It's a bit difficult to fit behind the floppy drive, but it is doable (I am using this adapter: https://www.amigalove.com/viewtopic.php?t=540). The card works great on the A1000, booted right up with no issues.
EDIT: it's a very tight fit but I was able to put back the metal shield and to close the case with everything working. Make sure to put a piece of plastic between the bottom of the 536 and A1000's daughterboard so they don't end up touching accidentally.

Terrific, thanks for the info! Can you tell me which ROM you used for the Kickstart (or if it was just the OEM ROM)? And, if your card would fit along with a ROM switcher, perhaps?
I'll check out that adapter from amigalove.com, thanks for the link.
I have Kickstart 3.1 in it - the original A1000 boot roms would crash on 030 so you need the kickstart adapter. I don't know how it would work with the switcher, as I don't have one, i am not sure if it relocates the board enough. But the one from the link is perfect.
