I want to start thread where you can declare interest to buy UK1541.
This thread is only for my knowledge about how much parts I need to buy before serial production.
Product UK1541 is an true emulation of Commodore 1541-II drive, is not SD2IEC with LCD screen.
You can run almost all demos from TOP100 CSDB, GEOS, games with this device.
It not contains CRT, REU, SID emulation because it is connected to the User Port, but:
- TFT 2,2" makes SD card easy to navigate with joystick and IR remote control, without freezing screen to choose next d64.
- because device is in User Port you can use your favourite card in Expansion Port,
- MSP430 uC provides you storage of external data as last accessed d64 image, RTC, logo etc.
UK1541 fits to C64C and C128 only, C64G(old case) and c128D not. UK1541 comes without shell because of parts placed on pcb, pcb is 2mm so is like MOBO, hard to crush.
Rule is simple, please declare your interest in this thread and I will prepare sufficient amount of units for you all.
Serial production will be black. Price 55 Euro max, plus p&p (it depends on country, EU)
