GBS-Control Clip-on Adapter for GBS 8200 (8220, HD-VC9900) Boards added to the sale list.
- GBS-Control is custom firmware project for GBS 8200 (and similar) video converter boards that is optimized for 15kHz 240p content, thus perfectly suitable for Amiga/Atari/SEGA/SNES/PSX etc. retro computers. Firmware still in development, makes GBS boards perform hugely better than stock state, similar to other much more expensive alternatives. Among the best features is 50Hz support (smooth scroll without tearing), resolution presets including 1280x1024 up to 1920x1080. No vertical bars, no motion interlace artifacts. Ability to stretch the picture over the whole screen, scanlines, linefilter and many others. This compact clip-on adapter sporting ESP8266 D1 mini Dev board, is easy to install, just place it over the original control chip and put a jumper nearby, that is all (photo1, photo2). All options are configurable over WiFi.
Do you sell individual Amiga Joystick port extenders?
Like the flat ribbon cables that come with an Elbox Power Tower case, i.e. that can be screwed into the DB9 holes in the back of the case? Only need to be 20cm in length.
This is for my A600 motherboard inside a CheckMate 1500+ case which I've just acquired
I do not know. There are moulded connectors on the cable, I can not open it to see.
Update: I have found the specs of the cable and opto isolators are present.
