I also would love MMU to be able to use Indi ECS in 256 colours... Which I can only do with my ACA 630

Look closer, you didn't see what's important :)

What I see doesn't exist in the real world... a 68LC040 with MFlops. Hopefully MMU and RTG graphics is coming. ;)
Sysinfo CPU detection code is about a 100 years old :-)
The Apollo- core its a hybrid 68040/060 softcore with some kind of FPU (aparently) but probably different enough from the 040 implementation not to be detected as such (yet).
Right now the only conclusion I draw is that its not similar enough to be properly detected by Sysinfo. Doesnt mean its not sufficiently compatible for code to run properly though. Then again, its probably in full development, so who knows...
@Majsta the work being done here is *fantastic* - it really is like we entered an alternative timeline in 1996 where Motorola continued to develop the 68k and Commodore was still doing new hardware.. :-)
But... should we worry about "feature-creep" syndrome here or are there milestones that will result in usable products soon, then followed by continued development of the softcore(s)?

update on the Apollo site show that Sysinfo detects more parts of the cpu:
