Hello Majsta

if you're approaching already zamównienia the second list, not through this forum, because I have the impression that I ordered earlier from some of the letters on the forum who have already received. I sent the money 1.04.2015r.

Regards

Remember there are two people producing the Vampire boards - majsta and kipper2k. If you pre-ordered on this thread, you are getting one from majsta, not kipper2k. They are both building boards, but may be going at different speeds. It's always frustrating when homebrew hardware takes time to be made, but it's worth the wait :D

Just spoke to kipper2k about ordering a Vampire v2 Amiga 600 Accelerator and he said I am on the Official waiting list which will be about 6 to 8 weeks. Still good though. :)

Bad news, I run out of parts, I have only 3 microSD card sockets left. 200 more is on the way but when will they be with me I don't know. This will once more delay things. I ll continue soldering and once sockets received I ll start sending again.

I hope the force will be with you soon - otherwise most of us get the cards at Christmas (if we are lucky)

How come i just pre-ordered mine a few days ago and got a conformation date from kipper saying it will be delivered in about 6 to 8 weeks.

Kipper2k has nothing to do with the preorders. Preorders are placed in this thread which was closed a long time ago and are handled by Majsta. If you ordered by writing a mail to Kipper2k, then you are in the regular order queue which has probably ~8 weeks lead time currently from what I can understand.

Mine arrived yesterday , looks great - not tested yet but i will this weekend.

great stuff :-)

tested and working great , very fast.

however the ACT red LED stays on when its warm (after using it) and it boots in to 68000 mode but when its cold the ACT light flashes once and it boots in to 68040 mode with ram and flies along.

maybe a fan would help.

trying it now.

great card :-)

This seems to be precisely the classical cpu socket connection issue, heat in the plcc socket reveals it. Follow the polish instructions from the thread first post. If you want to avoid of the falling on 68000 mode, remove your kickstart rom. It will not remove bad plcc socket connection issue, but it prevents Amiga to boot if vampire is popped off.

Hi,
i see on the first post there are many old preorders not yet supplied. Just as a matter of curiosity: Is there any information available where on the list, or at which point of ordering time the delivery list is at this moment?

Edit: Sorry i just read little bit more and it seems the waiting time was around three months. :)
