Re: What made you smile today?

Making a round trip of 400 miles to pick up a 4000D 030 with a load of extras.

It needs a bit of work but will be worth it when it's done :D

is that the one from Amiga.org Dave?
If so it looked like a good deal if you paid what was quoted in the thread.

Mike

That's the one. I was lucky in spotting the thread before anybody else

Needs a bit of work though but I can't grumble at the price I paid.

As a starting point i'll hopefully be taking it apart and giving it a good clean this weekend.

Re: What made you smile today?

This, which I came across on another forum...

I've had my GF for 2 years now (practically lives with me) - small white, petite thang, cooks for me, always been good to me.

I go away on holiday for a week, come back and something just doesn't seem right. I asked my Father if he had seen anything happen with my GF and he acts clueless.

So fast forward to 3 weeks later... I'm coming home from work when BAM clear as day, right in my Kitchen I catch my Father red handed with his meat in my GF.

I was pissed, told him to get his meat out of GF and GTFO, needless to say my GF got turned off. I just couldn't get over it and that night kicked my GF to the curb.

Now it's been 2 weeks since the incident and that I've been without my GF and about 10 minutes ago my Father had the audacity to ask my how my GF has been, when he's the damn reason we ain't together no more.

Should I get off the computer and start swinging at him?

OR

Pack my stuff and be on my way.

Here's pics of my GF for you guys as I know you'll ask.
Edit: the picture was of a George Foreman grill.....

Re: What made you smile today?

2 things made me smile today and last weekend!

I was on the bus today going to my friends house and this little girl in a pram with her mother was looking at me so i gave a little wave, Then as people started getting off the bus at various stops the little girl was saying bye bye to everyone including me it was funny cause she wouldnt stop doing it her mother said you don't have to keep saying it lol:)

Another similar incident was last weekend we had a free bbq on the basketball court in the west end of morecambe as it was free and arranged by various local groups including local churches and other community members. Anyway i was asked to be a member of staff and given a hi-vis jacket to help anyone with any problems or anything! This little girl came over to me and asked where the sweets where lol:) I as i unaware of any free sweets being given out i just pointed her in the direction of the face painting stall :)

Re: What made you smile today?

this dig at Williams on the official Ferrari website,

Indiscretion

Maranello, 4th August 2009 - Guess who opposed the test with the F60? A team that hasn't won anything for years and yet didn't pass over the opportunity to demonstrate once more a lack of spirit of fair play.
Just for the record, the Scuderia Ferrari had given its approval to let Alguersuari test, but it seems even in this instance someone decided to stick to the precise wording of the regulations.

ouch, now now girls :woot:
