Interested in accelerator only. Is it possible to program with CDTV firmware? According to Matthias "The 68EC020 is working in a CDTV in CDTV-Mode, BUT it doesn't fit physically: It's simply too long. Either you leave the lid open or do strange things.However, the card needs a special CDTV-firmware. It's also available on gitlab.".

Can you confirm if mounted in Amiga 1000 the machine will boot directly without need for kickstart disk?
So the card behaves like Classic 520 card... without of course the CF and SD card...

sure, it will work in A1000,
however, you need some soldering skills to be able to install it,
it goes like this:

once this (reversible) mod is done - You will be able to install this (or any other accelerator card)
this accelerator can work with any Kickstart as it has its own bootrom, so even KS 1.3 is fine

Matthias has released a compatible FW, haven't tested it though, i think this card is too big to install it on top,
maybe cutting a hole and placing a socket on the underside will allow to install any accelerator card You want..!?
