Any chance of two ide connections (master and slave) and at least 8 mb on board?
Oh, one last thing, not sure how difficult it would be to untie the cpu from the system clock.... but since 16 mhz and higher 68000 cpus are cheap as chips (under $5.00), any chance of piggy backing a faster 68000 cpu? Not sure how difficult it is to untie the cpu clock from the system clock, but an 8mb ram board with two ide connections (for installation of ide to compactflash HD and an ide laptop cdrom) and a 16 (or better still, 28 Mhz) 68000 would be amazing.
Thats a thought, how difficult would it be to take the usual 7.14 mhz cpu clock, triple it, or quadruple it and feed the new clock signal to a faster 68000 cpu?
Tom is working on a internal with 4 meg this one will use SMD tec so he
can keep size down..
