What's this obsession with "killing off" cheap Android tablets? Is competition a bad thing? I bought a Chinese tablet back in July, 9.7" 1.5Ghz A10, 1GB DDR3, Mali 400, same screen as the iPad 2. €150 including shipping direct from China, it now has CM10 installed with Jellybean and is smooth as butter. Runs everything on the market and 3D-intensive games play well at the highest settings. Solidly built, too. If I'd known about the dual core version with the same screen as the iPad 3 I would have gone for that. I fail to see the downside, here!
I have no interest in the iPad myself anyway, mini or not. Closed proprietary iOS vs open, rooted Android? I'll take the latter, please.
