Hey,

I'm thinking to build a Bar Top for my Neo Geo MVS, has anyone got a decent set of plans for a Bar Top Build?

I can get the panels cut at work and we're buying a plotter so should be able to cut the Vinyl too, our in house Graphic Designer has offered to help too so will make a nice project for us when it gets quiet in December.

Thanks in advance :)

too many projects, TO MANY PROJECTS!!! ARGHHHHHHHH

Is a picade to small ??

i think i have the plans for the kickstarter edition(larger 12” screen and 8 player top buttons)

but only single player

Thanks mate, I think 2 player better for Neo Geo but if you're happy to share the plans I'd love to take a look.

Cheers

hi steve can they cut MDF or chipboard? can they cut into the material depth as well for joystick mounts and button holes too? I bought a frame from arcadeworld.co.uk and another off ebay. both had advantages, if you can make your own after a few versions I can imagine it being the best of both worlds:)

i have a vinyl template of sorts as used on my bartop (has a 19" 5:4 lcd, the whole frame is 50 cm wide), prints to A0 on UV coated material. Just did one for thecorfiot based on space invaders.

I wouldnt worry about pre-cut, its such great material its a doddle to apply and trim perfectly. cost about £15 and delivered in a day.

do you have photoshop, or pixelmator?

Hey Ian, our guys can build pretty much anything from any material :)

When they're quiet in December I want to utilise them instead of them playing Frisbee for £200 a day!

I have been putting together shopping lists on Arcade World.

I can't make up my mind on CRT or LCD thought, that old PVM I sold back to you would have been perfect although damn big & heavy.

Thanks for the info :)
