Hello everyone !!!
:love::love::love:

I am a Commodore product enthusiast and like many of you I have had to replace the 2364 P-ROMs. I read on this forum that this PROM can be replaced with 27HC641 EPROMs. I wanted to know which programmer can write them. I currently own a Willem programmer.
Is there an adapter to use the Willem Programmer?

i only had a quick look at the pinouts in the datasheet for the devices,it looks like you might need an adaptor as they are not exactly the same layout pinout wise?

unless you did some pin swapping at the programmer so you wouldnt have to at the machine

I'm certainly not going to tinker with the programmer's circuitry, so
I know someone has done it, you have to add wires and swap pins under the programmer socket....but you understand that it is dangerous!!
Where can I find the adapter...please?

i never mentioned anything about messing with the programmers wirring,what on earth are you talking about??

if you was smart enough you could make your own adaptor,its what you might end up doing if its not supported by the programmer directly

and yes i have done this myself,its not very hard

Ok I'll build my own adapter for the Willem !!!

Can you explain to me how this adapter should be placed on the Willem socket?

According to this picture, chip's pin 21 should go to programmer's pin 18.
The same goes to pin 19 to pin 21 and pin 18 to pin 19.
