Hi!

Did you get the TF534 and ZZ9000 working nicely together? I have an A1500 Rev 6 Motherboard and am planning to buy a ZZ9000 and am currently trying to decide on which accelerator to use.

Thanks!
Regards
Chris

Not yet. Lukas' Amiga is damaged. He's having it repaired. Once the Amiga is functional, he'll diagnose the issue and update the driver.

I just want to mention it's a big plus the TF534's memory is mapped as Zorro 3 ram. This allows the A2000 to max out at 12Mb, 8 mb with the ZZ9000 (it needs 4 mb of address space).
And each ZZ screen mode sucks a lot of ram too.

I can't wait until Stephen releases his new accelerators. He's upping the RAM. The '60 card looks like the one to get.
I'm sure the TF536 will sell well too.

Hi, I hope this time Stephen would like to support the A2000 officially.

To make a 100% reliably working accelerator card for such Amiga like A2000 - You need that this accelerator supports DMA, because many additional A2k hardware is using this feature...
There will be issues on expanded system till DMA isn't implemented. That's the reason why i switched to Matzes accelerators.

I'm sure Lukas will resolve the issue. Is Matze working on anything new? Perhaps an '040 or '060 accelerator?

I hope so. I will be happy if he can fix the 68030 64MB. If he will create someting like 040 or 060 it will be AMAZING. But I suppose Matze is currently very busy:-(.

Hope Stephen does come back to his great Amiga projects, really was and still am hoping for a TF360.

Always someone out there that ruins it for the rest of us

I was asked by a user for info on how to install a ram68k to the Amiga 2000.
It's pretty straight forward.

Attached are some pics from my Amiga. The purple wire is twisted together to the yellow wire - yeah, amateur job.
The red and black wire is hd access. I'm currently not using it. Yeah, I'm lazy.

Oh! If these wires are OVR & INT2 - you have a header on the relocator so You can attach dupont wires there

There is a fellow in Canada who has a TF1260 up and running (as well as a Chucky on EAB, perhaps others).
Appears the TF1260 is slated for release sometime soon.
This should be a beauty. 128Mb on board RAM with an '060.

Yes, Alen and Supaduper have prototypes already,
There will be also a limited batch of 10x TF536 cards soon.
Will update my TF Thread soon, as i did a lot of tests with TF536 already

Hi, will the TF536 be DMA friendly in an A2000? so that it does not interfere with the other slots.

Nope, i don't think so..
TF536 is rather an A500 than A2000 card,
have tested it with Picasso II RTG graphic card and it worked perfectly, however, people will start to add different things like SCSI and other RAM cards etc and this will cause errors

Dont know if this is the right thread...
But Im looking for a DIY Kit for a cheap accelerator for A2000.
Fastram and IDE is my only demands..

Hi, how is working the IDE?
Because with 64MB you really don't need to expand the A2000 more than that. If the IDE works, the scsi can be pulled out but a compatibility with it will be amazing.
And if it works with the RTG and don't freeze, what you can ask more?
