I've got an application that needs two serial ports, so a cable that brings out the internal header to a D25 (or D9 if it's simpler) backplate would be super. If that's just to rare to be worth it will continue my search for a HyperCom ZII card.

Apologies, checking the schematic the internal and external rs232 share the same 8520 so they are just one port really. Should have checked first.

Yes, Amiga does only one port, you will need RS232 expansion card.
